My MS goes from 19 to over 2000 in some cases. since the pre patch event launched weeks ago, i’ve been unable to play properly. Plagued by CONSTANT disconnects. Sometimes i manage to stay logged in for a few minutes, other times i get a DC on the loading screen.
Checked everything i can think of. Addons, drivers etc and everything seems fine. I’m on Argent Dawn and i couldn’t care less about Dragonflight, i just want to RP my characters i’ve spent so long developing. Fingers crossed the reset will solve something.
I realise players moaning about things is a universal constant when it comes to gaming but jeez. If Blizzard just came out and spoke to players, explaining some of the struggles from THEIR end, it might make things a little more understandable. But silence is really, really bad.
Ahh yes of course, I forgot that Blizz is an indie company that we should be giving the benefit of the doubt…
In seriousness all though, this is absolutely embarassing at this point. Oh, and Azuremyst EU is completely buggered too (though only in the dragon isles itself it seems).

Ignore // in the beginning
““Dual cut in the terrestrial segment of SEAMEWE-5 between the cities of Abu Talab and Zafrana in Egypt have been reported,” the PTA said on its official Twitter handle.”
I am amazed that isp in south africa dont report such internet outages .
This isn’t a cable issue, this isn’t 2008 anymore, there are many cables and redundancies in place, when last have you had a look at the undersea cable situation in South Africa? It’s massive today.
Look at the tracerts, the faults are all on Blizzard EU side, in-country.
Anyway, I regret spending money on the sub for the month, I’ll re-join when they move hosting to Microsoft, in the meanwhile, I downloaded Warmane WOTLK, a private non-Blizzard server, which gives me a good 15-25ms less, consistent latency, and is actually responsive to play.

Sorry to bust your bubble but this is the main cable that connects asia and africa to europe so next time try harder.
Also don’t play its your loss
Thanks for posting the link but I don’t think it was related. Within an hour my connection was 100% normal. I think that were it the cable it would have been a much larger issue for us, but it was literally just WoW.
