If you’re at 60ms wait for lava burst and then eq/es, if you’re close to 100 fire it immediately. From what I experience it’s worth to lava burst > chain lighting while storekeeper is up. But never ever hold your lava burst to buff some spell that aren’t ready right away, so if you’re <50 ms you should cast lava burst > lighting bolt, not lighting > lava > shock
Cheers mate, yeah after using Sttormkeeper your MS bar is full. The reason I asked is that EQ is >> Stormkeeper on the MotE priority. So you never buff your EQ after using SK, correct?
I try to, but it depends on a lot of factors, do you have 2 charges of lava burst? Trash is going to live for a full duration of EQ? Tank is going to stand in buffed EQ or will kite in few sec? That’s the microdecisions you have to make sometimes. But if you don’t have 2 charges of lb, tank will stay in place and mobs will live long enough, then buffed EQ is the way.
Does the choice also matter whether you have to cast LB or get a proc?
What I do now is, Lava Burst --> FlameShock, then use Necro ability (on a different mob ofc, and twice if the conduit ability procs) --> Stormkeeper --> Lavaburst --> EQ --> Lava Burst --> Stormkeeper --> Lavaburst if procs --> EQ.
Another problem arises when I get multiple EQs from Aftershock
The difference between cast and proc is that you got a little more time to think when you’re casting vs sending instant. Usually you will be prioritizing buffing EQ/ES in most scenarios, but sometimes i treat mote as a passive damage increase and don’t think about it at all. It is good to have in mind buffing your best spells, but remember to never delay casting lava burst or es/eq just to give em those 20%
Mess around with echoing shock(not sure about name) you can go lava > flame shock > eq > (lava from talent goes in) chain lighting, this way you send buffed EQ and buffed chain lighting
