I’m seeint contradictory information about this. So how exactly does this work?
Starting 26/Sept (so not with this WotlK TW probably) you get one of these Distilled Knowledge of Timeways, and you have to collect 10 and use it on each week? Meaning you need to do at least 10 TW before the end of the first week, at least 20 before the end of the second one, etc. (but if I do like 50 runs on the first week, I am covered?)
And does it have to be the same character? Because if so, then it’s best to just give all of them to the lowest level character, otherwise they’ll be level 70 and all the XP buff is wasted trying to get the achievement.
First of all, the item that gives you the first buff is account wide limited to 5 so you need first to farm 5 and use them and then another 5.
Then after having used 10 the buff changes into a stronger version that instead get prolonged by running Timewalks so you are better off use them on a Level 25/30 character who is just ready for TW as for the achievment you need to keep to buff alive for all 5 Weeks.
Each week of 5 weeks of Time Turbulence will be about different expansion. Goal of achievement is to gain the Mastery of Timeways buff every week. So 10 dungeons every week.
Based on how achievements usually work, probably it all should be done in 1 character. But if Mastery of Timeways buff is account wide, than it’s not a problem.
As far as I understand you don’t need to keep buff alive full week - it will be nearly impossible since maximum duration of the buff is 5 hours. You don’t want to wake up in the middle of the night just to prolong it . I believe the goal of achievement is to get the buff at least once in each of 5 week.
That’s all I’ve seen about it so far, hopefully we’ll get a news item from Blizzard when this is going to happen and it will explain more. I’m sure wowhead will also update when they have more information.
According to current assumptions, you need 10 runs each week separately. You can’t stack 50 at the first week, because you can have maximum of 5 Distilled Knowledge of Timeways at the same time, it’s labeled Unique(5). So you need to do 10 runs first week and use 10 Knowledge to get the buff, another 10 runs second week and so on.
Maybe it could be cheesed with different characters though, since it’s account bound.
