Mastery over haste and vers?

so been checking raider io of some DH, alot use both unbound chaos and cycle of hatred now, when i pick those and sim myself then Mastery suddenly leaps ahead of Vers/haste.

it make sense since its chaos dmg, but all the guides still says go vers/haste, heck even the DH discord told me to go vers/haste still.

So, trust the sims or the guides/Discord?

Guides/discord. Mastery is not that valuable compared to haste/vers. You won’t be able to replicate what sims do.

This is easy math,
Demon-hunter scale very bad with Mastery
For example
1 mastery will give you 1 chaos dmg

Demon-hunter scale alot better with versatility / haste
Example :
1 vers = 1% dmg increase (for all skills)

Your right, mastery is logic wise a good Stat but since we scale so very bad with pure mastery you will pick in every condition vers and haste over it.

Another quick question: got a 223 gloves from vault with haste/crit, I’m wearing 213 haste/vers gloves, is that ilvl difference worth losing 66vers?

Sims say I’ll gain around 100 dps increase

Yea, they’re worth taking over the 213 you have. Agility is more valuable than any secondary we have
