Back to the subject though. Do you think people are in general against relationships in wow, because having established relationship sort of takes NPC of the free market and if player sort of had interest in that NPC it’s like them getting cheated?
I think that would be more realistic to marry him off to a Gilnean noble woman, related to Genn.
The King’s duty is to produce heirs but once he has done so, he can do whatever he wants, have as many lovers as he wants of any kind - as long it’s not too obvious.

Relationships in wow are bad yes. They amount to very little and partners are usually and should be a story macguffin or a motivional drive to some characters, rarely they paint the character a bit more
Many have been disappointed about Flynn and Shaw because Flynn has been target of lot of daydreaming for both genders. I wonder if these feelings are projected in the threads that are angry about this romance?
