I’m confused. I just got a level 80 Heart of Azeroth Today, but it says I have another 80k AP to go (Not doing that, screw this). Why are various sources saying the max level is 80?
80 is the max level that you can get the bonuses (essence slots/stamina) at, any further levels will just be added neck levels.

BTW you get like 2 of each secoundary stats each level, so anything above 80 is pointless tbh

I’m still on 73 and my only other BfA alt on 69 i think xD corruption make stats a bit worthless for me tbh

I lost to a DH today because his neck was higher ilvl than mine.
There is no way in hell I suck at my class. Its because of the neck ilvl.

The soft cap is 80 but Blizz in their infinite wisdom decided to not let us finish.
It will now continue to earn AP forever more. I believe it just adds ilvl to the neck.

imo the only level you should aim for is 75 which is the extra essence slot. Anything beyond that is ‘meh’
Get it to 900ilvl, then be the masochist and have it replaced with a normal dungeon rare necklace in SL!

It adds ilvl for sure, with this comes stats ofc, stam, main stat, haste crit mastery (very small amount) and also increase power of your essences… It aint gona be gamebreaking, but its something i guess…
