What is the max item level u get in bfa untill u limit out?
It was 970 in legion?
And 400 in bfa?
Right now the highest items you can get are 425. I don’t know if the neck can go higher but every slot is 425.
What should we do after getting highest item level?
You won’t get the highest item level.
The highest droppable items are in Mythic raids and they drop at 415. To get a 425 item, ANY (or most) items need to Warforge/Titanforge which means a random, low chance to increase ilvl on a dropped item by increments of 5.
For example you can see my gloves; they should’ve dropped as a 415 but Warforged into a 425.
Theoretically if you did fill out your 425 slots, you’d want to aim for getting the BiS (Best in Slot) pieces which means the best stats for your spec possible. After that? Do whatever you want, but the chances of getting that are close to 0%.
doesn’t the titan residuum vendor have 425 items? Thought i saw them there, but cant say for sure. I dont tend to look much at things i cant afford xD
The highest Azerite pieces are 415’s. You can upgrade them to 420 with Azerite traits.
Wow progress shows plenty players 420+ ilvl but as most players don’t actively update their characters there or even use that anymore and opt for Raider io instead there’s probably more higher.
High gear item level does not mean the same as it used to, not since Titanforging was introduced and even less in BFA with all the easy sources of bassically free high end gear.
Personally having high item level gear means you’ve been lucky more than anything else, its how the game is these days, everything is just a slot machine.
Plus high ilvl is not everything, currently sockets on items are the most valuablest thing, in some cases worth the equivalence of 20+ item levels in respect of your characters performance.
The top score was updated within the last 10 hours. I didn’t go checking through all of them but I’d say it’s a pretty good indication of item levels.
