I play from 11pm to ~1 am. Cant play at any other time. And what we play ? Whatever you want to play. Il have fun regardless.

I can DPS or Heal with this toon. But were both Shamans.

My other toon (Zavia, Warrior) is still naked unfortunately (550 ilvl). So unless its like Normal dungeons or something I dont think I have the gear to do M+. Unless you also have a similarly geared toon. Then we can do delves or whatever together.

This isn’t my main. Also, I am US so I usually get on at 8PM server time and continue on. Honestly, for some reason the WoW forums chose this for my forum persona and I was in too deep to change to a different character. I have a bunch of level 70 alts, 5 level 80’s, etc. I’m a bit of an alt hopper anyway.

Honestly allowing them to be replaced isn’t a bad solution. Just because it doesn’t happen often doesn’t mean it’s a non issue. Not had that many leavers last couple seasons. Had maybe one memorable key this expac where someone left. Heck I had a grim batol 4 go like 20 min over second week and no one left. Previous seasons someone would have absolutely left

your rio disqualifies you from this conversation as it’s clearly not aimed at your Team M+ pushing level but at average PuG situtation you never do. case closed.

You pretty much torpedoed your own thread with this.
Its no longer a discusion but a simple echo chamber. If somebody doesn’t share your experience then he is an “elitist, gatekeeper, premade and everything else”.

I also disagree with your view that leavers are such a common occurence. Sure they happen from time to time but thats life and cost of doing business with pugs. Guess that makes me also an “elitist” then.

blizzard completly destroyed the gearing curve this season.

there is T8 dvevles then nothing nothing and only worth content doing is +10 and mtyhci raiding.

nothing in between is worth doing atm .

How exactly I am gatekeeping anything or anyone? Am I standing at the start of the dungeon entrances and screaming at every player “You shall not pass!!!” or something?

Leavers are pretty much a non-issue in m+.

People generally don’t leave keys that are going well, they leave when their objectives can no longer be obtained or you wipe in a ridiculous way that says the run is going to be hell.

I was in a NW on my paladin as tank earlier, the group group kind of became blind to the fact that adds were still up when final harvest was about to happen. Final harvest goes off and we wipe.

We can still time it with the timer we have, if we don’t die again. Run back. Go again, they fail to kill the adds again. GG. People leave.

If you have friends that are willing to jump in and save a key if someone leaves, maybe just do keys with said friends instead of pugs?

All that can be done is make completing a dungeon untimed rewarding enough that players stay and keep trying. They might even manage to time dungeons by the skin of their teeth with a fair wind on some of these occassions.
Of course it can’t be so good a reward that untimed is as good or better than timed.

There is that, though my honest thoughts on the larger ‘leavers’ topic is that if a player chooses to PuG they must accept that the environment in which they choose to exist is like ye olde wild west.

Overall, I am, and have always been, vehemently anti-PuG and for me personally, if the choice is between running content in a PuG or not doing content at all, I will choose to not to do the content at all.
