Why Blizzard, did you make this change? Why do you listen to the none-gamers who just cry on the forums?
Didnt we see enough damage already from the ST weekly reset?
We DON’T want reset once a week, we want it TWICE A WEEK.
Remove this change at once and stop listening to these people who ruin the game for all of us. These people are the reason why SoD is taking so much damage, its because you keep adapting it for none-players instead of GAMERS. These none-gamers are the same people who download a game on the phones, buy a bunch of boosts and after a short while stops playing. You are ruining the gaming experience for all of us when you listen to these people.
Blizzard changes it first to 2 times a week, most people were happy, we dont need to make 100000 threads about how happy we are, we like the change, its there and we look forward to it.
however these none-gamers made a few posts on they suddenly change it, thats not majority. Majority isnt even watching the forums because of how much whining it is.
So dont come here saying majority wanted this, THEY DIDN’T.
We did ,just check out wowhead comments and us forums ,people want one reset so meanwhile we could focus on other activities/such as pvp,rep grind, dungeons and so on/ and not feel forced to raid every few days . If you are a sweetlord sorry,the majority of us are not and we are happy that blizzard changed it back to one reset
What benefit would you have gotten out of 2x per week ST? I am 90% BIS and have joined only pug runs and skipped each second reset. So chill …
There is way more content available at level 60 compared to level 50. I would not really worry about not having what to do for quite a handful of months.
Mate, we play the game differently. Many of us like to play on more chars, we spend more time and we actually enjoy raiding.
None-gamers can still play the game with 2 resets but because they are selfish people who don’t like challenges or care to put an effort in to achieving anything, they want 1 reset. I cant even understand how this is a problem and why Blizzard has listened to this.
There are many gamers who actively dont follow SoD forum who are upset by this change. This means gaming SoD will be limited since we will be done with most of it quickly and then we log out and eventually people stop playing again.
Well, you gave yourself the solution to your problem: you play more chars … Now, in ph4, playing more chars, you can’t really complain of lack of content. Assuming you have 3 toons, you’ll have weekly 3x mc, 3x bwl, 3x whatever, 6x(?) oni/azu/kazzak/whatever. On top of that, you are a gamer … you can’t be a Grunt on your toons now can you?
You talk about … challenges. I want to see you raid with no WBs. I want to see you get 700+ coins in the STV event as solo. I want to see you be top 5 worldwide progress/speed. Those are challenges. Copying strategies from others, raiding with a fully optimized raid setup, whilst buffed to the teeth and having the AH in your bags … that is not a challenge.
Clearing the raids won’t take long even with several chars and WB’s isnt what makes me clear them, if you ask me, remove them all together, they were added to please the none-gamers.
STV event isn’t interesting to me at all, I mean I do them to get the almost-BIS weapons and then Im done with it. Whats the fun in doing it solo? if the STV event is made in such a way where you can play solo and have an actual chance against others then count me in but its setup to just go spam AoE spells, get as many coins as possible and thats it.
Why would I care about being top 5? Some people enjoy doing speed runs and thats fun in its own way, I personally enjoy just clearing raids and having a good team, I dont need to stress it.
Again, 2 resets a week was good, now its ruined again.
a game like SoD needs activity and they just cut it in half AGAIN because of the none-gamers, so we will be back to square one in august like it is now.
It was the fastest change ever seen in wow history, so yeah you were def not the majority my friend Wade. Take a chill pill and play 7 chars to do MC every day, dont worry bout it.
Well, you see bro, you only want what fits you and your playstyle. That’s not how life works
For me personally, I don’t quite care if it’s 2 or 7 resets a week, as I will raid at my own pace, when and if I want, as I have already completed this game twice. And I am mainly here to just chill, do some PVP, get some pixel adrenaline shots and that is it.
You said you don’t go for speed runs in particular, but just to clear the raid with a good team. So, you see how that =/= a challenge. Having 2-3-4-x alts will solve your reset issues really easy. A “me” solution is much easier and at hand than a “the whole lot of you” solution.
Before asking for more resets and egocentric things, detach yourself a bit and try to view things objectively. Did you ever stop to consider the logistics, planning, effort needed to organize 3-6 raids / week? Especially for small(er) guilds, which represent like … the vast majority of them guilds.
I’m not going to even dive into how much imbalance would be created after couple of resets, both in PVP and PVE, between those 30% guilds who would double clear weekly, versus those who will clear only once.
again, why is it that YOU think you need to adapt to 2 raids a week? If you like to play your 1 raid a week, then you do it even if there is an option to play 2 raids a week, YOU CAN STILL CHOOSE TO PLAY 1 RAID A WEEK. How difficult is this to understand?
You are forcing the removal from other players because you are being selfish. You dont want to put enough time or effort and thats why other people shouldnt be allowed to either.
Leading raids or gather people isn’t a problem, there are many of us who can do that without any problems but I guarantee you that most of us will be gone shortly after P4 starts. In Augusti Living flame will be back to ghost mode like it is today, all thanks to people like yourself who have ruined this game since day 1, or lets say at least phase 2 because “phase 1 was too hard”. That mentality has no place in a game like this.
Hard … I think we have different definitions. In my world, hard means when bosses don’t die for months. In your world, the bosses die in tries. So … really, don’t say SOD was/is/will be hard.
But listen, rather than wasting eachother’s time … Go check the forums, take each thread revolving resets and count the people, pro and cons. And there you will have the answer.
