Hey there,
I’ve been playing this game since Wrath of the Lich King on and off, and it’s wild to me how every other class keeps getting love, visual updates, customization, new forms, new toys, while Shamans? We’re still sitting here with leftovers.
Let’s start with forms.
Druids get endless customizations – colors, shapes, glows, entire new models every expansion.
Shamans? We got a wolf that runs like a dog, a raptor, and a fox. Really?
You have so many incredible wolf models in the game, yet somehow we get the one that looks like it was made just to fill a slot on a checklist.
How hard would it be to give us one badass, primal, elemental wolf?
We channel the fury of nature and the elements, not fetch sticks.
Then there’s Transmog.
Why are Shamans still restricted like it’s 2010?
Why can’t we transmog Held in Off-Hand items into shields? But here’s the funny part – if it’s an artifact shield, suddenly it’s fine? Really makes sense.
Why can’t we transmog daggers into maces or vice versa?
Why can other classes transmog two 1-handers into a 2-hander, but we can’t even get basic flexibility within our own weapon types?
And the cherry on top: artifact weapon restrictions.
Why is Doomhammer locked to Enhancement?
I’m an Elemental Shaman, and I’d love to wield Doomhammer, just like Thrall himself, who by the way, was an Elemental Shaman wielding the Doomhammer.
But no, that’s apparently too logical.
It took literal years for the devs to finally update that horrible Ascendance model, and sometimes it really feels like the art team did that one on purpose just to see if we’d notice.
And what’s up with class mounts being spec-locked?
A Shaman is the embodiment of balance between all elements, so why can’t we freely ride our class mount no matter the spec?
We’re not “Elemental,” “Enhancement,” or “Restoration,” we’re Shamans. We wield the elements as we please.
20 years later, and it’s the same story.
Every patch, every expansion, other classes get shiny updates, reworks, visual love.
Meanwhile, we’re still out here channeling the same visuals and limitations from a decade ago.
It’s exhausting, really.
The list goes on and on, but honestly, after two decades, you’d think we’d at least look as epic as we play.
Blizzard, do better. We’ve waited long enough.
