Wow. Blizzard this mount is an absolute work of art. Thank you. The sounds are amazing, from the ramshackle movements of the mechanism to the rattling of the chains. The animations are great, particularly the jump, the mount special (which actually fires off the catapult which is the greatest bit), and even the chunks of meat from the roller and the blood splatters it leaves on the floor. I think I’m going to have to make this my main mount over Mimirons head. Its just that good.

I’m with you on that one, it’s such a great addition it makes me want to drift 'round Orgrimmar with other peeps with the mount.

I know it’s great isn’t it. Personally I’ve had great fun lobbing chunks of meat at Night Elves.

Fuggin veggies. I bet they all have PETA memberships too.

I only hope it’s rancid dolphin meat being thrown about.

If you want to enrage a veggie, tell them tuna fish tins sometimes inadvertently have dolphin meat in them. Sit back and watch the Apocalypse.

I am not going to pre-order anything from Blizzard no matter how many WoW mounts they try to bribe me with.

That ship has sailed.

The only thing they achieve by continuing to try and bribe is making me go more and more numb to what they put in as a collectioner. For example, there are Blizzcon pets that I do not have and will probably never have, because I never went to Blizzcon. Fine. Mounts and other things for pre-orders go straight into the same bucket. And the bigger the number of these unobtainables grows, the less incentive I have to pursue a collection, because the extent to which my collection can ever be full is decreasing.

You also get a HS Card back and maybe some cosmetics in the game when it comes out.

Glad you said that, bc ive been giving up on collecting too lately. Always talking about it with my sis too, bc we both collect pets and mounts.
Started to make an effort for gear, but never even started with toys, bc most are ridiculous. The gear i already stopped with.
The pets we both no longer care for, unless it is especially cute.
We were complaining about the sheer number of boars and wolf mounts, that you do need to grind, but will never use.
And just yesterday, as Darkshore opened, she mentioned there would be mounts to get too. I said no way!? More mounts and behold… 6 of them.
Yes, she said laughing, bc “we like that”. Yea, we did, but not anymore. The sheer amount of them is ridiculous.

The more rubbish they throw at me, the less i feel i want to continue playing.

Yup, I am feeling the same.

I like collecting things a lot. Mounts, pets, toys, achievements, recipes - I find it fun to be completing collections. But it’s one thing when they grow naturally. Like, hey, here’s a new big patch, there are two new instances and one new raid and an extension to the Darkmoon Faire and a new season of Brawler’s Guild yadda yadda yadda - and there is also a pet here and a pet there and a mount there. This feels good, you play and you collect and you enjoy.

But lately what they started doing is something completely different. Hey, there’s a new patch and it has no additions in terms of gameplay, you have to grind the same stupid islands you didn’t like before, BUT we are going to throw twenty pets there so that you have REASONS to grind these stupid islands for years trying to get all those pets (tempting to add “mwahaha”). This is not only not fun as in - no, I don’t want to do it. This actually eats at my desire to collect pets even outside of those islands. Because they just added twenty items to a full collection that I will have to either resign to keep as holes or will have a very unpleasant time filling. This feels terrible.

Oh please, stop with the straw-man argument… Blizzard as been including mounts in Warcraft related products ever since Pandaria.

I actually like it, I was planning to buy W3 again and suddenly they released reforged, so it mattered little on what version I wasted my money …
