I have kinda fallen for Mechagnomes (i know!) but I have a few pet peaves.
Mainly it’s transmog. It would be nice and to be able to pick our limbs to transmog. I guess it makes them too close to a normal gnome but I’d just like to see armour where I select it and not forced into diaper mode.
Heritage armour - would be nice if there was recolour options so you could have a silver version and a rusty version. Actually don’t know how this was an oversight.
Also weapon types for each slot. A two handed wrench would be cool.
Also hunter pets, any chance we could tame those robots or at least give more mech options.
My last issue is hunter or mage and what fits them the best! But that’s a me issue.
The problem with the Mechagnomes was their story, really
Nobody really asked for this kind of Mchagnomes; people wanted Mechagnomes, but the original version, the mechanical servants of Keeper Mimiron from Northrend
The Gnomes, while I don’t like them, have a very dark story and history
Just immagine; every Gnome is the survivor of their own Chernobil combined with Fallout, they had to survive the unsurvivable! They had to watch their home destroyed, their friends and family, loved one die… but before that, they had to listen the screams and the sound of their nails and banging on the blast doors, knowing, if they open it, it means certain death, radiation poisoning or cannibalized by the insane infected
They had to leave all behind!
Haunted by these memories and survivor’s guilt, strugling with nightmares it is a miracle they are still able to smile , to be “funny”
They are actually tragic and badass and should be admired for their strength they manage to continnue day after day despite what happened…
…and smile
It would have been the “natural evolution” of the Gnomes who survived to try everything to stay alive, including improving themselves with mechanical parts and step on the road of the Cyberman of Dr. Who, and a splinter faction would become a survival obsessed half-machine-half-gnome monstorsities (and eventually fully mechanized)

Mechagnomes do look good with their full heritage armor so ill give them that. I also heard people with disabilities (mechanic arms, etc) identify with mechagnomes so that increased my respect for the race.
I would like to suggest having an option for legs and arms for their legs and arms to be half organic half robot. Basically an option from the knee down to be robot but knee up be organic. This way pants can be worn. For the arms, anything elbow down would be robotic and elbow up would be organic. That way shirts can be worn.
