What’s wrong with the mechano hog sounds? It seems that at idle it’s rather ok, a tad quieter than before but not much of a difference. Driving it, that’s a whole new crap experience, it barely makes any sound whatsoever, it’s like standing at 50 yards distance from a active mech, barely a whisper. I know that people used to whine about the loudness of it, but that was about the idle sound and I can understand that, it’s perfect as it is at idle now compared to what it was. Jumping with it tho it’s nearly twice as loud as idling, basically as before , which is also fine by me but why did you have to destroy it’s driving sound, that was the whole fun of it, hearing the engine roar, quite moderately i’d say compared to the jumping with it sound, pretty much like idling noise level right now. As it is right now, with it’s super quiet driving sound level, it’s nearly unusable for me, because it actually really annoys me how quiet it is. Can anyone give me any help fixing this, addon or anything else.
Now a reasonable person would support you BUT I’m only gonna tell you this:
The way they usually fix this kind of things, it could end up with a rainbow coming out of the engine and the sound of kittens instead of roaring. Everything loud enough to shatter your ears at first listening.
Oh joy! You know sometimes I question myself why did I even buy the game after being away for 9 years. I mean, sure i like it …somewhat…but crap like this shouldn’t have been done this way, the driving sound was the only sound that actually didn’t need any modification …at all. Idle sound, sure, they lowered it and it’s actually well made, jumping sound was not modified and it’s popping compared to idle but I don’t mind it. And this is only an example of something done partly ok partly like they handled the keyboard to a bunch of hozen. Maybe all the devs are secretly hozen and it’s all a big conspiracy to dook us. I am actually speechless at the poor execution.
If only we had an option to install a custom exhaust system , like a carbon Akrapovic…
