Medivh, Stormwind and Ironforge

During Warcraft 3 campaign Medivh warns Thrall, Terenas and Antonidas urging them to flee to Kalimdor to avoid the Scourge.

Is there any reason why he didn’t warn Stormwind or Ironforge? Is this ever explained?

Lorderoni, Zug Zugs and some magic students are the only people wroth living.

Because Stormwind was still rebuilding since it was completely destroyed in the First War. Also they had their own internal problems (that we don’t see in WC3) like the Defias uprising and the death of Queen Tiffin. They couldn’t do anything against the Scourge nor could they answer Daelin’s call to war, thus they wouldn’t have been of much use in Kalimdor.

Plus maybe Medivh finally realized that you can’t just ask an entire kingdom to pack their things and travel to a western continent that may or may not exist. The people would never accept that, and indeed both Lordaeron and Dalaran (two well-established nations that had suffered in the Second War) refused immediately. Only the orcs accepted, and because they really had nowhere else to go.

Also Medivh is so annoying. “The warning was given, now their destiny is in their own hands”, well maybe then don’t go around telling monarchs to abandon everything they have built based on your cryptic BS warnings.
