Posted the video as proof someone asked on reddit, but onky because i couldnt find the answer i needed with certainty with any google search.

Testing the quest Meet at the Grave and drinking Videre Elixir, no death, 1hp and 5 min debuff.

The developers mentioned this quest specifically with regard to HC.

So it’s working as they stated.
