I upgraded my CPU from an i5 6600k to an i5 12600k just last weekend. On Windows 10 it ran the game just fine, no lag or crashes whatsoever. Now that I’ve updated to Windows 11 the game constantly crashes, giving memory request errors (ranging from requesting 2 GBs to 10 GBs). I’ve tried repairing my install, disabling all addons, running without any other programs, but nothing works. WoW classic works fine, so do other games. I’m running on 16 GBs of RAM, which was more than plenty on Windows 10.
I had the same issue yesterday. Game crashes giving memory request errors.
the crashes happen when i watch some specific videos on youtube with chrome. i don’t know whether the issue is simply connected with chrome
