Since the update today, I get a strong and immediate memory leak. It creeps up by about 0.2gb every second until my Mac crashes.
I’m on an M1 Mac, Ventura 13.3 with 8GB ram.
As soon as I log in the force quit applications window opens and shows WoW at ~4GB ram and increases by 0.2 per second until my computer crashes around the 6GB mark.
I have all addons disabled. Nothing new installed or changed on my mac.
Having regular memory leak crashes on PC too, along with other weird issues (game minimizing for 5 seconds randomly).
Game worked perfectly fine yesterday
yeah im getting crashes and the boxes that show up are saying not enough memory. i got plenty and shouldnt be a problem. closed everything down in the background just for wow to work including overwolf for mods. even having that in the background causes wow to crash
There is no quality control at Blizzard we are the beta testers, if the game becomes unplayable for over a year this is not an issue for blizzard cos you already payed, really a shame wish Microsoft would clean up already all the damage previous CEO did
I have the same issue, but WoW responded on the US forums that its an issue beyond WoW. I’ve checked Weakauras, and for some reason all the aura’s are loaded permanently, they are not triggered anymore since new patch. For example, Abberus is loaded while im in Amirdrassil. Not sure if that could be the cause, but I tried to delete some old aura’s hoping performance increases again…
Getting freezes , game not responding, blue screens with Memory Leak codes and reasons, since the latest patch.
I cannot understand how 32gb ram can have memory leak to be honest but this is for sure a new low point.
