I’m experiencing a memory issue whenever I do crafting for extended periods. After about 30 minutes, my RAM usage spikes to almost three times what it was at the start. The only way to bring it back down is to restart the game, which is obviously disruptive and frustrating when I’m in the middle of a long crafting session.
Has anyone else encountered this? Any advice on what else to try or specific settings to adjust? I’d also appreciate any insight into whether this might be an addon issue or something else in the client/server side.
Addons CraftSim does not solve the problem.
Isn’t this the “bulk crafting memory leak” that’s been around for several years and where blizz and MS windows kept pointing fingers at each other?
have you tried playing without any addons at all?
Not suggesting you keep playing like that, i mean just try it. Then it’ll be a case of reenabling to find out which one.
Are you getting any lua errors? I use addons buggrabber/bugsack to collect them. It can tank performance heavily. The upside is if you are getting lua it’ll tell you exactly which addon or w/e
I doubt Microsoft is to blame if it only happens during a bulk craft. If there was an issue Blizzard should find a way around it.
It’ll be fixed in 11.0.7
Or has it?!?
dun dun duuun.
Next expansion all will be better, and theres play housing
I just had it Hearthstoning from Draenor (WoD) to Dalaran (Legion). I thought not having Battle.net open in background with WoW would help - and for a time it did… now apparently it was short lived.
