How are others finding the two drops needed hard to obtain? I spent over 3 hours with a partner, killed dozens of mobs but no luck.
There was a ton of competition from other players, so it looks like a lot of farmers were there. The items were selling at 85g on the Gadgetzan AH, but no way I’m going to pay that, just in principle.
Making the items non-BOP is another stiffing by some bozo developer, keep up the good work!
It’s a joke by the dev team to keep op shamans in check, paying and extra month of sub just to get the rune. Shamans are most played class right now isn’t it? Easy money.

I did another hour grinding tonight for nothing and met a L50 shaman who said he’d spent 5 LEVELS trying to get the 2nd rune drop >200 kills and no joy.
They can stuff it where the monkey stuffed the nuts for me.

Yes the rune is a annoying to get, you have to try odd hours or try your luck with some layer swaps. I think I heard rogues also can get it through pickpocketing fairly easily, try to tag a guildie rogue to come help you and pickpocket the mobs you are about to kill.
Damn i feel offended, turns out shamans are even S tier at insults, unbalanced game.
