Meta slaves

just a heads up, you dont need meta to clear +7 dungeon.

insanely cringe to see how much i get declined on my druid healer even when im heavily over qualified for the dungeons i queue up for.

People forgot how to have fun in this game.

This has always been a thing, unfortunately. People relying heavily on tier lists to dictate what classes they should have in their group because a YouTuber or streamer said so.

Most of the top runner use those “S” tier classes because they’re extremely good at how they play them, but also their team members also know their classes. Plus, most of them run keys together for months/years, so they know their strenghts & weaknesses.

You just get to a point, where trying to do a pug run is hit or miss if you’ll be invited. So it’s best to just not really think too much about it. Just click the sign-up button and don’t think anything else about it.

I remember back in DF I would be sitting around in Valdrakken for hours trying to get into a group to do even a basic key, and I just lost all interest in key runs since then. I’ll click sign up on some groups, if there is no action after 30 minutes I just jump onto an alt and level them up.

As Keento said, people have forgotten about the fun aspect of games. The tryhards/gatekeepers focus too much on thinking they’re going to be the best and people will want to invite them more to other group content.

Give people a timed dungeon with harder content and a failable key and ofcourse they are going to minmax it so they finish it on time and dont watse their time. People minmaxed dungeons far less when m+ wasnt a thing. Well outside the biggest guilds trying to race for world firsts atleast

I love it.

Some random Rogue complaining that Disc isn’t meta, but he did like 3 interrupts in the entire dungeon, died twice due to avoidables, and didn’t really help in getting it all cleared.

So every time I see someone mention that they want a meta-setup, I envision them; happy to not have grouped up with them.

Most people are sheep and they follow the herd.
That’s just the sad truth.

I think a lot of people in WoW are playing classes they actually don’t enjoy playing, but play them because they get the chance to be in higher endgame content.

I’d rather play something I enjoy over getting bored/burnt out within a few weeks/months.

Thats the most frustrating part of these minmaxers. They are basicly following a guide for everything. Class, specc, talents, gear, tactics. But in the end they have no clue what or why they are doing this and are not even able to do some basic things of their class like interupting. Because according to their guides everything should be magically fine as long you follow the guides

Seeing how groups are getting their butts kicked even in +7 they want to brute force it by throwing metas, ilvl, and M+ score at it to counter all the fails.
After getting hard stuck in NW 3. boss in a third of my +7-s, I can’t say I blame them.

if you need meta for a +7 you have issues beyond what spec you bring. vast issues.

Yeah but my goal is to finish the key, not to assign blame.

This has been a thing since vanilla go cry a river of salty tears

logic would suggest an off meta player with same or higher score than a meta player is objectively the better player. also a nice afterthought to have.

Well taking into account that resto shaman is 4x better than rdruid atm i get why they wont take u

That may or may not be the case.

on average it has to be the case.

that is basically the issue, people some how believe that. complete nonesense.
