I think most people don’t actually believe that they themselves won. And I don’t think you believe that either. 
And people just like to follow different human experiences and emphatize with them, etc. Same thing with sports, movies, books, games, etc.
It’s mostly just harmless banter between the different regions. Sure some people take it to far, but those are outliers.

Also i dare you guys to go check out us forum general discussion about method victory (they call them REDBULL xD). Those pathetic monkeys over there cannot show some dignity and respect. Calling method pay to play proffesionals ->reason why they won.
Limit get two heroic items pulled some shenenigans with transfering started like 16 h earlier and had 8 bosses lead.

Yliajo was in Orgrimmar but I don’t think he appreciated my Troll jumping all over him and making everyone aware he was there, hehe. Anyway it was great watching the streams from all the different Method raiders & switching to Exorsus supporting them too. But just don’t be drinking that ToothRot!!!

As far as i could tell they ignored many mechanics in order to zerg phase 3 of the fight, which i think is a bit silly… (correct me if im wrong)
However, the fact that they realized it was possble & actually stuck to the strategy is pretty damn impressive! Im not implying that zerging is easier than doing the actual strats (which i assume are intended to be executed). Also, since zerging is playing against the clock it becomes super intensive at the very end which makes the good attempts super exciting.
Overall, the redbull team & method put up a incredible show, never had so much fun watching world of warcraft on twitch. I really hope they continue with this concept.

The stacks in p3 are inevitable while spending some time to kill the ad seems unnecessary at that point. If the ad cant’ be kicked and there is actually time before stacks wipe the raid then it could be done in such way. It’s still not certain if that elemental is and explicit distraction that needs to be managed but not necessarily killed.
Without the reset, would Limit win?
Method will always get that extra day to complete the challenge. Limit thought they had the advantage of moving to alliance for that ilvl boost.
But method had the advantage of an extra day before reset.

I’m actually really glad Method won entirely unrelated to them being EU - when I compare Method to Limit over these last few days, Method really just stands out as a pillar of the community in addition to being great players. Between the streams, the interviews, the fact that they make their tactics public, etc. they really have a positive impact on the community. Limit, meanwhile, faction changes twice while calling the game **** using their guild name.
To be fair Josh also had some very negative choice words for Blizzard on Twitter after they changes the scrapping of Azerite after Josh had told them a few days earlier to not do exactly that, but honestly the Azerite system as we know it won’t really be there in the next tier, so let’s hope all this mess was a one-off and we can put that behind us now.
Method got a day less (almost). US gets the patch tuesday, EU gets it wednesday, and most people don’t count the hours since the patch released in the region to indicate who got the kill first - they count who literally got it first.
An extra reset is always an advantage. You get to choose between more gear or extending. If you extend, it’s as if the reset never happened.

Yeah that could be the case aswell i suppose, but since we know the elemental has additional mechanics built into it i think it’s supposed to be killed.
My interpretation of the p3 fight was that the raid was supposed to hero in order to make jaina iceblock, kill the elemental and make sure people get additional stacks so they turn into ice blocks which the raid has to save one by one (player ice block clear stacks). Im not sure if the enrage timer would be manageable doing this however… perhaps jaina iceblock extends her enrage timer aswell?
Idk i just feel like the intended use of hero was to recover during the fight, not to bust the wall (which they also managed to do in some of their pulls). I think jaina has the iceblock mechanic for a reason…
I’ll have to take a peek at their QQ. There’s nothing like a good ol’ US of A weep-a-thon to brighten my day! I don’t even care about the race, either.
