Method last stand?

This whole situation happened, and carried on for so long precisely because people deluded themselves into believing what they wanted to believe.

I’m not saying I’m 100% correct, I realise theres room for ambiguity and interpretation. But I still maintain you’re not being objective and you’re taking what you want to believe from that clip.

Do you honestly think there would have been a huge yell to mute him if he were talking about healing CD rotations? Like I said, don’t be naive.

The Lostprophets thing really got to me T.T Sometimes I still want to listen to their music but it feels wrong to do so

Well at least i would start yelling to mute him if i was streaming and it would risk me getting banned too,but its not that big of secret that the raiders knew what was happening becouse josh told them about it,and i fully agree that many ppl in method dident take those things seriously enough and start investigating it more inside the guild, and ofc he should have been kicked at start already.

maybe a minority is saying that but the vast majority doesnt and acknowledges that not everyone knew about it.

Personally I think, it’s hard to believe a stranger over a friend or someone you’re very acquainted with, even if you tried your best there will probably be abit of bias in you, especially if your friend pleads innocence or at least that’s the case for me.

I think some of them felt that " one of my bro’s being setup I’mma cover up for em " and they genuinely believed that.

You don’t just cover up someone if they committed rape and pedophilic acts, and I know it does happen but you’d think one of the 19 others + all other method affiliates wouldn’t accept it and scream foul, so I think the probability that one or more people knew exists, but its slim and the reality is that a good chunk of them got deceived, just like I someone that watched his youtube vids were.

I watched the guy, honestly it felt too obvious that it was a script, or I daresay he was so good at making it look like a script, you wouldn’t believe it wasn’t, even the video title had " script " in it.

It’s one of those things you take for granted, oh X is just acting like an douche, but in reality they’re a real sweet heart.

Ironically there’s a vid where he explains how things are gonna happen and people took at as sarcasm.

I actually think this was because Josh had a perma ban from Twitch, and if Method were letting him talk on their stream they could have also got a ban.

They may have known something. They may also have known nothing. I imagine that there was the potential for them to lose a huge chunk of change if Josh was heard speaking on stream so them shouting him down for that seems plausible.

I bought them up because I saw you mention them in another thread and they seemed like a good example here. The rest of the band certainly didn’t know what kind of person they were working with and have now lost all the income that the band’s back catalog would have given them.

There’s a song of theirs that’s featured in Lego Rock Band, and it regularly plays in the background while browsing the menus. It makes me uncomfortable hearing it when my daughter wants to play Ghostbusters or Monster. I used to like the song too (and a bunch of other stuff that they did).

But still here we are.

I’m telling you it’s bad from both sides because ignorance of youth and mentally ill “adult”.

But here i see that you’re telling me it’s ok because young people are retarded and do retarded stuff but it’s ok because age?

I still see people here giving her a free pass and it took her THREE FRICKIN’ YEARS to come out?
And it all came together with other people being accused?
Isn’t this just a bit TOO conspicious?

Still feels like being spurned revenge material to me.

… oh so someone is trying to get internet famous again or is there actual any truth ? At this stage knowing that a lot of #metoo campaign was false and lies and even the original team - there were clearly some who went voluntarily (yes, seen intervies where they describe they did go VOLUNTARILY) - so here’s my quetsion - without going to Reddit and other sites and ask straight away - any basis on claims or just attempt to get name known or ruin someone’s rep.

Also thing is who played who eventually ?

I know of 3 people at the moment who have been accused.

1st is Angry Joe, who made a statement that basically refuted everything he was accused of and 2 days ago the accuser deleted everything she said.

2nd is Swifty, which is a he said she said case, with no concrete evidence.

3rd is the Method Josh case, which has several sceenshots, videos and a bunch of other evidence. As far as we know, the police investigation is going on right now.

I ask such in my post because in modern days people tend to believe accusations just on word basis without any proof as its such era, where you are not allowed to quetsion anything and we live one of the highest censorship eras of past 40 years (and I come from era, where journalism was censored, and that country still censorships media - even internet).

I also see that opponents just see this as good sting to shot down Method instead IF proven guilty handle with one particular person.

So i am just doubtful on all #metoo alike things untill police has done their investigation (as I trust police more than media or social media) . If he did misbehave, I hope there will be prison time. Otherwise I also think they should start making laws that give people, who falsely accuse also equal prison time.

There is no investigation going on with the first 2 cases. The case of the 3rd has been going on for I while (as far as I know).

+1

Add FinalBossTV too in the last 24h,but the case is clear as Josh.

What evidence do they have against him? Is there an investigation going on?

This one:https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/hg2kuq/sexual_assault_accusations_against_finalboss_tv/

All of the chronological events are listed.

Thats not true, it was dropped for insufficient evidence. The tweets state that quite clearly. Stick to what you know, not what you speculate.

Now Limit has some stuff going on :frowning:

I never thought these people were very sympathetic, anyone remember when they half assed tried to get WOW classic lvl 60 first and were dicking around on lvl 35+/- while that random gnome was getting 60? they even had a whole “event” around this

It’s not like the justice system (in the US or elsewhere) has never failed before to convict people who obviously were guilty of what they did - for example, in the early '90s there had been the case with a few cops doing something similar to what happened with Floyd this year, and they all were acquitted due to… not so noble reasons. Trust in the judicial system is important, but treating legal truth as if it’s the only truth that matters is just wrong

Furthermore, what’s lawful and what’s right don’t necessarily go hand-in-hand. I’ve seen sentences carried out that I personally found morally abhorrent, even by very “civil” courts such as the EU and US ones. In the case of sexual misconduct, it may very well be the case that, according to the law (of a certain country, at least), certain forms of behavior aren’t considered serious enough to constitute a crime (or even warrant a trial), even if common sensitivity would suggest otherwise.

The problem with peoples truth is that - people also tend to lie, when cameras roll. We cannot take accusers word just as is. Social media tends to spin things in waves - in campaigns. This tends to bend the truth as in a telephone game.
