You dont like that people playing the game who also happen to be in Method are streaming?

I do not honestly understand the problem…

Can ye not let a man put forward a good conspiracy theory without making rational comments on it. I’m sure he gave hours making his tin foil hat before typing out this thread :rofl::rofl:

Dare you for not knowing that Method are Blizzard employees to make the game look more alive and spread elitist propaganda.

what’s up with the bizarre forum posts…

This and one about pvp flagging…I’m truly lost for words.

Can we get one about something worthwhile like I dunno…professions?

OPs way of typing hurts me.

it’s called celebrity status. all the cool kids that are the best in their game earn that status and get hordes of npcbots called ā€˜ā€˜hsensored sapiens electronicus gamingus’’ to follow them and cheer for them! it is known

btw who knew you can’t type the word HUMAN in LATIN because apparently HUMAN SAPIENS is a slur

Only the genus can be used as a slur, as you well know.

Terrible effort. 1/10

Just don’t think of Method as a ā€˜guild’ with ā€˜members/raiders’, but as a ā€˜business’ with ā€˜freelancers’.

The freelancers get a share of the sponsorship income of the business based on world first race participation (as confirmed by Methodjosh in a stream around a month ago). Any additional income the freelancers make on the side (streaming/Twitch/YouTube/etc) is theirs to keep, so it’s to the freelancers benefit to do this to supplement their income. At the same time it benefits the business as it promotes their name and improves their position to get sponsors, etc., creating a win-win situation.

With this in mind, why would it be weird to have multiple Method members streaming at the same time? They are all trying to supplement their income through Twitch subs, etc. A stream doesn’t need to be sponsored to make money…

Full Stop.

guess he wonders why world 2nd guild is so popular :stuck_out_tongue:

maybe he would prefer to see streams from Pieces

This actually made me laugh, thanks!

An opinion I do actually share, but probably many won’t ^^

Bad enough having Blizzard increasing monetisation of the game, without 3rd parties also finding ways of doing it…

But then it only takes watching the very occasional Asmongold YouTube clip to see how silly the human race can be. I’d never throw $500 at a Youtuber I’ve never even met, but it seems there are plenty of people out there that think differently.

I actually had the pleasure of playing with a few people from Pieces back in WoD, nice people, so I’m happy for them and it’s nice to see them sneak away with a world first before Method/Limit. I like underdog stories.

Ah well, the internet is full of bots to pretend to be more popular than we actually are. Giving likes to pics to get higher in rankings, retweeting to make it look like a lot of people agree with the statement or having thousands of friends on FB. You can buy it all.

I guarantee that some viewers on Twitch are bots to push the numbers. This, however, doesn’t have to be Blizz’ doing.

Buuut I also know that for some reason people actually like to watch ā€œgoodā€ players play a game instead of playing it themselves.

this was my intention

OP made the thread in the weekend. You wonder whu that is a bizarre forum post…
