Did it happen to you too that the bosses Mueh’zala and Mistcaller skip the combat phases?
In DOS we failed the key, because Mueh’zala the second time he sent us from the totems that did NOT appear, not even the add and so we stood waiting for the end of the phase. As a result, we couldn’t do any damage to the boss. So two more steps and the key thrown away!
In Mist, Mistcaller, the second time around, skips the copies phase, so we killed him first.
What is happening to this game?
At muehzala you have to go to the platforms with still a totem available. You can see which ones it are when you are fighting the boss. Platforms done in previous rounds do not get a new totem and will not have an add.
Mistcaller has specific percentages where the guessing game starts. When you are able to burn the boss on a previous ability over this percentage the guessing game does not happen.
We have been playing in Shadowlands for two years and the mechanics of the bosses are now made even if we are not on the PC. They know each other by now.
In two years Mistcaller, he never skipped a phase, he always played the riddle game, four during tyranny, three during power-up. If you do too much damage, you do more harm to the boss and thus reach the Riddles activation percentage sooner. He will always do it, he will never skip it. In 9.2 the bosses skip phases

Yes, he did. There are usually 3 add phases. We’ve been saving CDs so we can burst him and skip the 3rd phase for a long time (since well before the start of 9.2).
The Mueh’zala thing does sound like a bug, though. I assume you reported it through the in-game bug report system.

If the boss skips a mechanic, it means that there is a mistake in the game and that you abusing that mistake, you make the boss skip the mechanics. Basically you play dirty. (In game)

if you ever had 4 guessing games, like you claim. Report it ingame as bug. It should only be at 70, 40 and 10%.
He’s right, though. It is normal. If you’ve never seen Mistcaller skip a phase, it’s just because you’ve not been doing enough damage at that specific time.

I timed +21 mists yesterday and i really had only 3. At 70% 40% and 10%. Like it should be. Tyrannical has no influence on it. If you had 4, report it to blizzard as bug.

The fourth copy game activated at 5% boss life with Tyrannic. How is it possible that you only do three and I do four? For two years I have always made four of riddles with Tyrannical, three with Fortified! You tell me that you can also skip the stages and I have never seen this in two years (only once, two days ago when I opened the post). I mean I’m really falling from the clouds !! I’ve always pugged and the fourth game of copies has always activated at 5% life, even at 2% … in fact, as soon as it ends, you kill it immediately.

Have you tried looking at the in game Dungeon Journal, where on Mistcaller’s overview page it clearly states, “Mistcaller plays [Guessing Game] at 70%, 40% and 10%”? Or is the in game Dungeon Journal also wrong, just like every other poster trying to tell you it has always been 3 games? I personally never had 4, and if you did, that is 100% a bug and you should report it.
EDIT. It is possible however you have seen the Game start when the boss is at 5% and such, because it is quite a long cast and you can still dps her until the cast finishes.
