I like how some folks here say Midnight is “mid” or an “improvement” over BFA,SL or “its my top 3 exp” then list freaking WOTLK,TBC which are literally outdated whos re-releases died off within weeks.Midnight is banger,i havent enjoyed expansion like this since TBC.
Zones, music, delves, dungeons are 10/10 and you cant do nothing about it,you can only cry into abyss quoting your favorite streamer or copy paste the same complaints over and over.
I know its subjective, but your opinion is a joke.I prefer this passive aggressive tone because i cant stand reading your hilarious complaints, and to those who say Midnight is bad,im looking forward to see you unsub because i would never prefer to play with such people. <3
I enjoyed it for the most part (not the Voidstorm part), but honestly I had more fun leveling up in DF and TWW. It could just be a ‘me’ thing though. I’m not sure.
I like the zones in general (except Voidstorm). I enjoyed the story/stories. But… I’m just not having that ‘oh man I need to play NOW!’ feeling.
By this time in TWW I already had 2 alts at max level.
This time I haven’t leveled any other character beyond my main yet and to be completely honest: I’m not sure I’ll be doing that, period. I just don’t feel the urge to.
Many classes had like 50 spells before pruning and you still couldnt achiev duelist before DF and Solo shuffle. The class you’re playing was 3 button class design since day one.Go watch Xaryu auto attacking mobs in durotar or something saying how meaningful it is
Disabling addons on very short notice without providing alternatives
Bugs aplenty
The new race is clipping central, as if they just inflated a Night Elf model and didn’t even bother to adapt 3d clothes/armour to the new size
The Haranir feel shoehorned in, and their entire campaign feels detached from the rest of the plot
Story is flat so far, and has the usual Blizzard plot points like “good is actually evil and evil can actually be good”. The current writers are way out of their depths when trying to portray moral dilemmas.
Characters are utterly predictable and I find it hard to care about any of them
Valeera Sanguinar is useless as a companion. She deals less damage than a healer, dies to 3 trash mobs in tank role despite getting uninterrupted healing, and only really serves as a potion dispenser in her healer role. Not even Brann was this bad at launch
Some of the new dungeons feel very trash heavy, but I haven’t done a lot of them, so this might just be bad luck.
So far, Midnight is fully meeting my expectations of being mostly slop after you look past the frankly amazing Silvermoon rework.
I’m enjoying my holy pala a lot and I feel like I have enough buttons to press on it. Tbh I have not played pala before so I dont really know what were pruned from them. I’m really enjoying the current holy pala however.
You dont need your UI to look like RWF ,im gettinng my curves,duelists/elites/over 3k easily without tryharding and almost 0 addons, its either you need an addon to tell you where to stand and what to do or blizzard encounter design did a terrible job,in this case both are true. They did this for good.
The rest of your complaints gave me good giggle.Like im here since TBC you cant fool me,bugs were always the case and will be always the case, not only in WoW but in other MMOs.Story in WoW was never a big thing, oldschool one was also predictable and flat it was just new back then, and we didnt have so much info to compare it with something.Nowdays everyone is an expert in everything.Based on your character you havent done any questlines regarding Midnight, you dont seem to be a "lore"guy at all.
The only expectation i met is seeing (c)rap like yours about expansion you havent or barely played, but you sound very much a guy that quotes their favorite streamer and its getting boring at this point reading the same slop every day.
