Hello ,
currently im living in the united arab emirates (Dubai)
the Ping is playable at casual but as a hardcore player/pvper its a totally different game with the latency
i also noticed the middle east region have alot of players why just not give them thier own servers/region ?
epicgames known as fortnite has middle east servers located in bahrain cant just blizzard have Middle east servers in bahrain ?

Blizzard do not have an office or data centre in the middle east and the cost of putting one there is highly prohibitive for how many customers they will have.
Edit: In other words, it will cost far too much for a small return.

I don’t think it is impossible, even here in EU other also have their own realm groups, I have a friend who plays in Dubai also and it is an issue (but we love him so it doesn’t matter
).
Take my
and good luck, I suggest you inform anybody in a similar situation and hopefully it gets enough attention to warrant intervention and another realm.
If enough player come forward and express the issue I do not see why it would not happen.

fair enough but imagine how many more would play the game if they had ME region,
fortnite got +200k players when they released ME servers , not trying 2 compare between games/companies ,
as an activision i think its worth thier money

Yes, because a 15 year old game is directly comparable to the hottest flavour of the month game in the world at the moment…
Meh totally different games but the point is ME servers so players can enjoy their experience and keep playing rather than getting fed up and quitting
One thing, how many embargoed countries are there in the ME?
Imo the most obvious solution would be servers based in Turkey or Israel.
Close to large potential playerbases (Egypt, Iran) and both operating under some similar sort of legal framework akin to EU.
Would be interesting to see Blizzard’s economic reasoning behind this decision to not try to penetrate there tbh because the two countries mentioned up above in brackets have close to 200 million people together…

Riot Games actually brought Turkey our own servers, they are generally in Germany as far as I know. We are in the middle of Europe and Middle-East so this country is a suitable place for such things.
Though I think Blizzard won’t do this unless they see it profitable, better servers and better player experience with less lag comes second hence I don’t think they will do this.
just two . Syria and Yemen .iran is not in middle east . It is considered south Asia.
It all depends on population . PlayStation has large community of overwatch lovers so although middle eastern players play in Europe zone but they have their dedicated middle east psn servers which serve them .
It all comes down to population and demand
turkey has always been considered Europe part not middle east .

Personally why notn hope they will not be able to play with me ,I am already avoiding multiple language groups in EU for their lack /unwillingness to speak in ENGLISH.
i have alot of middle east friends and they can speak english alot well then the germans french italians could muster up .but alot of people do that .i can relate to it . once i was playing overwatch and these two dudes woud not stop speaking in arabic so we all left the match in the middle
People that consider Iran as south Asia have no clue about geography or cultural history of the middle East.

Probably the same people who think that Turkey is part of the Europe apart from the Istanbul/Constantinople. Or those who believe that North Africa is Europe

I keep playing WoW from time to time as a causal player. The latency over years dropped from 250ms to 120ms.
Now, the latency is between 90ms and 100ms which it is considered very good for Saudi Arabia players.
What’s the latency for EU players? Is it less than 40ms?
