Midnight changes elemental Shaman

Been playing this character for over 20 years now, many changes came and went for the shaman in the mean time. Now, in a short amount of time they are removing many spells from our toolkit. Usually I just accept it and go on, but now they are removing (yet again) a spell that brings a lot of flavour to our class, and a spell that is in my opinion a spell that represents what a Shaman is about. Pure RNG fun/chaos/mayeh.

First, you remove “Ancestral Guidance”, because the Shaman isn’t hybrid anymore (I guess…). Even though Priest (Vampiric Embrace) and Druid (Nature’s Vigil) are keeping their “passive” healing cooldowns…

But now Blizzard removes a extremely fun proc, that helps make Shaman special, Deeply Rooted Elements (DRE). For me Shaman has always been about a certain level of luck and chaos, some fights/pulls things go bad, sometimes star allign, but usually it is fairly distributed, as it should be. Removing a talent such as DRE removes the hope, sheer joy and awesomeness when you get a proc, and sometimes (extremely rare) even 2 procs in a short window…

Shaman is going the boring, more safe and controlled route, and that feels terrible… I am not interrested in playing other classes, I tried and they are not for me. Guess perhaps Midnight will be the first expansion which I am not certain I’ll play…

Any other elemental Shaman feel the same way?

Thanks for your time
