Looking at the upcoming Midnight changes a big topic is interrupts/kicks. PLEASE keep interrupt for holy paladin, we are fighting directly at the mobs. We should provide a small amount of utility with kicking even if it’s a slower CD. We are a melee healer, why would it make sense to remove it for us but keep it for resto shaman? Asides from that, the upcoming crusader strike removal also seems odd, we lack damage and this is a core part of the melee play for generating holy power.
Generally holy paladin is playing OK in TWW, however, we lack any sort of reason to be invited to groups at keys 15+. Why not make aura mastery + devotion aura actually a meaningful cooldown, the amount of damage it mitigates is not high enough. It needs to be almost a group saving cooldown like “Loom’ithar’s Living Silk” is, maybe not quite the same of course. Just a much higher % of damage reduction.
It would really make a difference if we actually see some healing balancing in Midnight, why is resto druid pumping out so high numbers VS other healing classes. The skill level needed for some healing classes vs others also does not match.
