used the character boost on a new toon, dident get the renown boost that was supposed to be implied with it nor the 5000 Resonance Crystals or the 5000 Kej.
i bought the epic edition if needed to be replicated.
i see theres a few users on US forums having same issue

Same thing has happened to me; used the boost but nothing happened and the character is still level 1. I tried the suggested steps I found - to create a new character, log in, delete them then delete the battle.net cache - but although the character then showed “Character boost processing”, shortly afterwards that had vanished.
I have the Epic version, character name Keirayla on Argent Dawn.

Hello, I used the Midnight Boost on a new character and did not receive any gains to War Within renown (Council of Dornogal, Hallowfall Arathi, Assembly of the Deeps, Severed Threads and Cartels of Undermine all between level 10 and 15) AND did not receive the advertised 5000 gold (sitting at 10 gold in my character’s bags and no gold has been mailed to me either).
I kinda feel ripped off, I’d like to know if a fix is on the horizon ??
Feels like this happens every time new expansion launches. Better to wait couple days before using boost just in case I guess, though obviously that should not be the case.

Similar issue here, I got the currency but I am unable to skip the story and get my cloak straight away, nor I can access my talents as an evoker
i know for the skip, chapter 4 in the quest has just been released, so you need to progress with your main first to get the skip back if you havent done that
Same issue. No renown gained after boosting the character via Midnight pre-purchase.
Used the boost but Character still level 1…
Funnily enough I’ve finished all 5 chapters last week, got achievement for it, but the Warband Campsite doesn’t show up (like, it is not at all on the selection menu, not even grayed out). Also, alts are stuck at 3/5 of the quest, no way to skip to the end, despite my main having finished it.
If I’d get a Dollar for every bug Blizzard created with this new season, I’d be richer than Elon.

Overnight a fix has been applied that resolves some of the problems with the new character boost, namely the missing level up of characters (e.g. character left at level 1).
If your character was in such a situation after the boost, logging it now should complete the leveling up and correctly bring the toon to level 80 
As for other issues (e.g. some characters not having received reputation or currencies, missing evoker talents) investigation is still ongoing.

I bought the Midnight pre release basic edition and I didn’t receive the boost at all. The option to boost is totally missing from my character window.

Hi.
So, I just used my level 80 Boost from preordering Midnight. I made a whole new Warlock for it, a Blood Elf. Chose my specialization, yada yada, clicked confirm.
I come back to an Undead Warlock I made ages ago at level 80, my Blood Elf at Level 1.
Now of course I am a bit panicky - I do not want the Boost on the Undead, I made the Blood Elf specifically for this Boost, from within the Boost Window.

If it wasn’t that long ago you could try requesting a refund in which case that newly boosted character of yours could end up locked and unusable until you make a repurchase, but I’m only speculating on only one of the more probable outcomes.
Worst case scenario you lose a full week expecting a satisfactory resolution from customer support. However after reading over their page on boosted characters, every action is final and irreversible (updated as of 1 month ago).
Because granted reputation renown provided by the preorder is account-wide (not sure if for all editions), I would not so optimistic because they can’t just take away provided gains so casually, which is why you might end up disappointed. These are the so called “added benefits” as described in the small text which make your purchases non-refundable.
But luckily for you there’s a bug in place… make a case fast.

May I just suggest something? I would delete the boosted character so you don’t receive these added benefits the moment the bug gets fixed. From what I can see on your character you didn’t cap out all renown in question yet. It just might increase your chances and you can always restore it later within 365 days.
