Midnight is Dragonflight 3.0

Dragonflight was a new beginning for World of Warcraft, every following expansion is built on its foundations, adds a few similar new features, slightly modifies older elements, but still keeps that characteristic Dragonflight feeling, examples? Pretty much everything, quests, achievements, zone design adapted for skyriding, talents, mechanics, skill interactions, enchants, embellishments, professions, literally everything.

It was a good expansion, a breath of fresh air, previously with every expansion they kept reinventing the wheel and unnecessarily changing systems that relied mostly on borrowed power, this approach should have translated into higher team efficiency, but we don’t see that, quite the opposite, we see even bigger shortcomings. If Midnight ends up like TWW, a beautiful start followed by disappointment after disappointment (and by that I mean heavy recycling), then the only cope left will be saying that it’s because all the resources were thrown into The Last Titan, and we’ll be stuck in the waiting room again, I really hope Midnight won’t fall apart after 12.0.5 like the current expansion did.

You really need to take a break lol. You think too much.

Player housing will do a lot of heavy lifting for this expansion. Combined with the art team holding the other end of the stretcher, they can carry the writers.

How i see it is that some people need a BIG break of wow touch some grass maybe reinvent yourself, people are saying that the story in wow is bad, for me it was alright it wasnt special but it definitly wasnt as bad as they say. Also if u think i will get more then 8 new dungeons or more then 2 big raids on release of an expansion sorry to dissapoint u but that will never happen again.

There will be always recycled old content even mythic+ never changed only the affixes but the system itself nope.

Midnight is much different tho big class changes, UI overhaul wich is not bad except for the atrocious nameplate’s wich i hope they change tbh.

So i tell u again have a BIG break because u are someone who is tired of wow.

Looking at their achievement points, yeah. A much needed break.

Bad lore can be ignored for as long as everything else is awesome. I saw the Beta and I am genuinely impressed so far what the Devs cooked up.

Dragonflight was very bad

Shadowlands 100x better despite the bad reputation.

True.

:joy:

Looks good so far.

Ai, but the wow fatigue comes much sooner these days than in the past.

Why? DF was my fave. I hated SL so bad.

SL had a great dungeon pool, I think outside of BfA it was the best by far.
As a PvP player I was able to grind gear and still do keys with friends. The systems basically brought you together instead of separating the players.
Gameplay-wise it was just fun. Only Torghast was annoying af.

Since I hated SL after I started and quitted fast

Non-friendly alts with covenants.

Zones are never feel non-WoW thing. DF are so beautiful zones also fits with WoW things.

Maw was unfun run with use feet wihout mount

Torghast are weird. I liked delves are better.

Grind animas.

It’s all why I hated SL and dont have play SL 2 years. After I returned DF make me so loved it.

Well you are obviously a solo player who is not interested in the end game content.
But end game content is exactly what decides if the game is healthy or not. If you don’t see people playing together but rather roaming somewhere alone, it will feel like a dead game to everyone.

I got to be honest the midnight excites me as much as dragonflight after shadowlands. There is really nothing i am interested in the next expansion the new race i have no interest at all and the housing is about the same as if i wanted to build houses and decorate them i would rather play either sims or minecraft.

Kind of ironic when the “endgame” is also the most toxic thing in WoW to i wouldn’t really call the game healthy.
