Cosmetic rewards won me over right away for I am a simple soul. Four blood elf military groups. Blood knights, farstriders, sunreavers, spellbreakers? Sunfury?

Sounds interesting.

So what are the new activities “for everyone”? You haven’t listed them.

Sounds good, will skip the tower defense.

I did, yes. Still looking for the “for everyone”

They mean that there are different events for different types of players, not one event that suits everyone because that’s impossible. If there’s nothing there that you like the sound of, what would you?

They said that there are new activities for everyone? But this doesn’t cover everyone.

Reputations

Now you might say how is that new and I will say fair let me play devils advocate:
They mean new reputations to grind, not content that doesn’t already fall under existing types (dungeons, reps, raids, delves, pvp, crafting etc)

I am looking at the other 3 things on that list and thinking its worded so vaguely we’ll have to see wether these are good additions or detriments to the game but they read like they will be the weekly outdoors events

I can see the profession event being an issue if its unfun but neccesary to stay on track with knowledge points.

Everyone can DO these events.

Doesn’t mean everyone will LIKE these events.

Stop being such a negative nancy.

I really hope it’s just profession THEMED and not actually required FOR professions. Because they used the term ‘professions-themed public event’ specifically.

It was a genuine question. What do you think is missing? What would you like to do?

with vague speak as the one being applied here I wouldn’t tie anything down too hard, but its possible its just a theme yeah rather then a hard progression requirement, I hope so as well honestly.

Tho it wouldn’t be the first time they gated doing a more popular form of content behind a less popular form of content.

Overall I’m positive about those tasks, I am just worried about one thing. In TWW, similar events were a source of Bountiful Delve Keys. I presume these events will also be doing the same.

You say the events are for everyone, but not everyone has the time or ability to do them, especially if they only happen like every 1.5h, especially if they play multiple alts.

Question:

  • Can we add a fast track to get those bountiful keys on alts when the main has already completed the event for the week?
  • Alternatively, can we get bountiful delve keys/key fragments drop from dungeon clears and raid boss kills?
    • T11 delves give a keystone quest item incentivizing the player to do M+, would be good so dungeon players get incentive to do Delves - if they want to/care about it.

I am asking because I like to run dungeons, either with friends or even pugging, but it leaves no time to work on the events that give delve keys, and even less time to do so on alts.

So far nothing new in Midnight. Just copy-pasted stuff from GW2 and old features brought to next expansion.

Similar to activities like soup-making in the Azure Span (“Yes, Chef!”), or Shipping and Handling in Undermine, we’re introducing a variety of small pieces of content that appeal to different playstyles, ranging from high-intensity combat to cozier content that takes you further into the lore.

  • Silvermoon Court/Saltheril’s Soiree (Eversong Woods): Balance your reputation between four of Silvermoon’s military factions via public events and weeklies in a call-back to Burning Crusade era reputation. Each track has its own set of cosmetic rewards.
  • Abundance (Zul’Aman and all Midnight Zones): Harvest materials for the Loa of Abundance in a fast-paced, super-buffed, professions-themed public event. Available across all Midnight zones.
  • Legends of the Haranir (Harandar): Step into the forgotten past of the Hara’ti Tribe using magical paintings to embark on bite-sized lore-rich journeys. Each adventure reveals more of the Haranir’s mysterious history.
  • Stormarion Assault (Voidstorm): Protect the Void Elves as they activate a Singularity Anchor to purge Stormarion Citadel of remnant void anomalies. This is an action-packed combat scenario where player skill and well-placed defenses are crucial to holding back relentless waves of void attackers.

Sounds like a decent mix of stuff. Will give it all a whirl.

By that logic, there haven’t been anything new the last 10-15 years. All games at this point are just copying old concepts, there have been nothing new or innovate for years.

Thanks for confirming

Except I’m not talking about WoW alone. I’m talking about the entire Gaming Market.

So maybe you’ve just gotten too old for games, you’ve seen it all. Time to find a new hobby
