I agree with you, especially about the Alleria and family part. Still, I’d rather wait until beta to make my mind up. If they don’t give us any new class/race combinations in future patches (cough, paladin, cough) I will be very disappointed.
Player housing is the main source of hype for me, finally something completely new and it feels refreshing. Collecting the furniture etc. will probably be just the good old instance running, rare killing or crafting, but I enjoy running content for collectibles, so for me this is fine.
Revamp of the zones sounds great, just hope the old zones stay like this and nothing gets removed, even the last gray quality item, /wave Zidormi…
After all of TWW being about Alleria I really want someone else to be the main character this time. Pretty blue eyed elves can’t carre a story for 6 years straight.
I was extremely hyped for the Prey system, but then they announced that final showdown with the boss will be in a confined space, and about the difficulty Ion said that Kyveza ?? difficultly is a bit higher than what they aim for, but not far off, and now I’m debating whether to stick with this mage, or just throw the towel and dust off my Draenei Hunter, and that makes me sad
I chose mage to play a ranged DPS, not to be a melee target dummy for mobs
I’ll wait for any news about this from alpha, but don’t hold any hope really. Seems to me that even though they made it into a solo challenge (higher difficulties will all be solo only), they won’t tune it for individual classes.
I’m still hyped both for Midnight and the Prey system, just sad that I’d probably need to leave my mage behind - I don’t like handicapping myself, and putting more effort just to get the same rewards others get easily.
Prey system sounds grey too. We have more than enough challenging content for groups, every solo only challenge added is great news. Ofc by its nature some classes / spec will have easier or harder time doing them, this cannot be prevented.
the scar was just healed, it wasn’t just a patch of grass that got plagued, the very leylines below it was all messed up and corrupted.
So I hope they will adress it in some way.
I still think their sylvanas return is just a ghostly echo in the windrunner dungeon or some such minor, “blinked and you missed it” moment.
They keep bringing up the dungeon whenever the question about her is asked.
I am glad they aren’t getting DH just cuz.
No one seemed to have an issue with the class option imbalance being in the hordes favor until now, let the alliance have a bone.
The Windrunner sisters are notorious drama queens who want everything to be about their family and their openly not so secret human fetish.
Like all three sisters fell in love with a human, thats not a random occurance thats on purpose.
Because they tried to fix it and realized it was not fix-able, as I said
If blizzard just handwave this I am gonna be a bit miffed is all, I want some lore development not just a “bibidy bobidy boom your problems are now gone”
And zandalari trolls have been able to play every class (minus dh and evoker) since warlocks got unlocked for all.
darkspear can still be everything but evoker, dh and paladin
And the horde have more druids as well.
yet the alliance get to have one more DH and suddenly its a problem.
I’m wondering if the reasoning behind that is to make Silvermoon like Legion Dalaran, with both Alliance and Horde zones where you got teleported out if you strayed into them. Obviously a neutral zone as well.
Concerning housing - will it be the same Blizzard we know and love (/s) where the idea is great, but the implementation is poor given their track record on such things
I have a feeling it’s going to be Arator. He is the main character in the pre-quel book and has his very own campaign story in Midnight. I seriously don’t care for it, he was one of my minions champions in Legion. He follows -me-.
I’d much rather it be Liadrin and even Thrall. I like Vereesa too but they don’t seem to use her - just not Alleria please!
