They changed it to Tentacle slam because it was so broken that they gave up on fixing it, so making a new ability that does the exact same but better and faster, was the easier solution

Problem will be now its a fontal and you need to aim it and it will miss if tank is a leeroy who runs 24/7 around conners with adds.

Also points out the next problem which is mobility and hard cast timers which tank does not care for at all.

The devs needs to shape up remove like 5 of the forced choice nodes for void form and make it a 1min cd for voidweaver mindbender PL cleave.

There’s only 2 and they’re not forced for Voidweaver

( I hope that you are on to something. Void form is legit boring and no barber shop customization to choose if you want it to be raven wings or fa*t cloud) I really hope they step up and give priest the druid/DH/paladin treatment a complete rework away from stress form and bad mobility and hard casts.

that change killed pvp for me, Now we are just a meat shield dead when a DH/paladin jump us. Which is why i surges they make dispersion dispel able and make it so you can cast while inside it.

Time will tell the meta. With blizzards focus on apparitions, crit/versa might become the meta

many people on the us forums explains why they feel void form / apparitions system feels a thing of the past.

Also off topic priest is the only class in game that needs mobility speed gems due to tanks runs at 200% mounted speed in dungeons.

So the problem is but lack of interest from the dev team now i might sound ancient. But in shadowlands when you had door of shadow / soul shape it made priest legit more better, first time in a long time you could keep up with tanks.

Body and soul and feathers needs to be reworked either make feathers a 5 man thing that bless all people in the party and you don’t have to put it out anymore Like druids ROAR. Bake it in to body and soul then give us door of shadow 2 charges with a 30% movement speed.

Also priest bubble make that and angelic feathers in a 5 man thing that you get an absorption like mages mage bubble bake it in to an ability like that.

Would fix the sloppy pvp play priest has going we have legit to much button bloat as is with everything hard cast and aiming required.

Then priest has some choice to be picked, rather than Pi I wish they would remove Pi make Void form instant cast and bake the haste in towards we buff our people and our self with Pi during damage instead make it a passive that can proc instead of an spell.

Like there is so many buttons they could remove from the game that isn’t even fun to press.

both as a healer / dps i feel priest has the most buttons in game.

For holy / discipline they could make Pi pop of healing crits.
