Blizzard doesn’t want extremely high DPET spells like old school DoTs to exist.

Yeah I know they don’t like the spread cleave it gave… And yet they gave us Physic Link, which does the same, but in a boring way. So I’d much rather have better dot’s than that
The difference is that psychic link requires you to be continually doing actions. It’s not the spread that’s the problem as much as the “Fire and forget”.
In the past you put 2 gcds into something and that’s all the damage you’re going to do to it for 20 seconds, even if you went afk.
Well at least it looks like we can get a good crit haste build going with archon now
Except you can’t if you play pvp because versa will always be your 2nd stat, haste the other.
I wish they would just straight up remove versa. It hinders build planning so much in pvp.
I’ve never liked the idea of versa. I preferred multihit when they introduced those stats back in WoD. It was more visually pleasing
Honestly, all the thing i read about the SP from Midnight push me so far away from playing this spec.
