And Wotlk prepatch was 30 august. So 3 months vs 1 months and 3 weeks then!

Still meh!

Still drama queens.

Nobody play retail ?

NOBODY play retail ? Dude, are you under drugs or something? There are 10 times more players in retail than in Classic…

1000 IQ.

Classic players dont play retail usually

so your worry is unfounded

Are you under drugs my little man?

You say WOTLK was the most played Classic version, with 3 months between WOTLK and Dragonflight.

Then you say TBC is going to be only 1 month and 3 weeks??

Do you know 3 months > 1 month and 3 weeks?? What are you smoking my dude???

I just say they are going to kill TBC launch BECAUSE they don’t let enough of time to play on it BEFORE the Midnight release. 13 january is the pre-patch, the TBC patch is going to be like 27 january or 3 february, or maybe MORE if they wait 1 month between pre-patch and release. So only 1 month MAXIMUM between TBC and Midnight.

WoTLK got 2 full month between release and Dragonflight.

During WOTLK, we GOT THE TIME to play the expansion BEFORE the Dragonflight release.

With TBC, we are NOT going to have the time to play the expansion before Midnight release… And trust me, a lot of ppl are playing Retail AND Classic at the same time, and A LOT are going to leave classic during Midnight release. Think otherwise is to be an idiot.

WTF is that guy, is he trolling or he just have 20 IQ ? IDK…

Quite! Clearly you are bubbling like a little kid.

And TBC will probably get 1 month!

Now off you go. Drama Queen.

Do you ever think before talking? I’m just telling you they are going to kill TBC because of this ONLY 1 month MAXIMUM of TBC before Midnight release.

Please dude, stop taking drugs, you are so cringe.

i think you’re right bro

So Wotlk Classic got 2 months and was the most played Classic Expansion ( and not only ) in the history.

TBC will get 1+ month and will be killed? LOL.

Just face it. You will go play Midnight and you just want 2 months of TBC to lurk around.

I play both but if I had to choose one I would go retail, it has solo shuffle and solo q for rated bg (blitz) and don’t need to farm gear very long or do stupid raids, can log in and just play pvp till I log off. Midnight will remove many addon functionality which will make even more ā€œfairā€ pvp

It’s attumans horse, it can drop

give us titanforged and you will see how many will continue on retail.
Housing will get irrelevant very fast and then you got a second TWW.

The majority on classic does not bother retail mate. You can be calm unless you try to ragebait people.

Source?

WALLAH brother, it’s true, truste me bro.

Historic data, from for example when Dragonflight came out during Wrath classic, if a majority of classic players did play retail as well then we should have seen a massive decrease in the amount of logs being uploaded at that time, we did not. Ergo the majority of classic players dont play retail or if they do they do it as a side thing.

That was completely inevitable regardless of dragonflight. Wotlk was one of the worst expansions ever, at least in 3.3.5 state, people just deluded themselves with nostalgia and had a sour awakening.

My point was that there wasnt a decrease in player numbers, and seeing as there wasnt a decrease in player numbers when dragonflight came out we have a fairly decent historic point to show where if classic players cared about retail we should have seen a decrease.

There was a massive drop in population, just look at the arena cutoffs.

But I think it has less to do with dragonflight, as TBC and wotlk are notorious for being expansions you finish in just a few months then raid log the rest of the expansion, so once you have level 80 characters you are basically done with all the grunt work.

Maybe raiding continued with decent numbers, but it is evident the servers died, which was a trend since classic ended in 2021 and obvious with the server consolidations.
