It seems that when I visit bonfires, the ‘Honor the Flame’ quest is available on some characters, but not on others.
Is this a bug related to the fact that the festival was late last year, to coincide with the Olympics? I’m wondering if the characters for which the quest isn’t available completed the quest at that bonfire during the event last year?

No, it’s just because these quests are made on this character. this is a very big problem because last year I did these quests. But I spent the Burning Blossom
on a holiday food that disappeared 14 days later. Now because i can’t do these quests I can’t buy anything festive. I wanted to buy a pet Captured Flame
. but now even if i do daily quests i can only get 20 Burning Blossom maximum. since the holiday lasts 14 days i can only get 280 Burning Blossom. I can’t buy something expensive: Captured Flame, Brazier of Dancing Flames. I hope there is a solution to this negative moment, like resetting quests that have been completed
Blizz should tackle this already instead of whipping up crazy XP boosting buffs.
if you did it in classic, you can;t do them again.
WotLK will fix it.
Ok thanks all, disappointing, I was hoping to get some easy XP on some of my alts. As it’s due to be fixed in wrath it would be nice if they brought the fix forward, but I guess that’s unlikely. Take care all.
They manually fixed this back in Wrath. It was almost always bugged at start, much like the Elders. But with all the new shiny 
they are busy whipping up rigth now, I doubt they’ll take their time to do it this year.

“WotLK will fix it.” what is IT? the holiday will end in two weeks. WotLK will be in 2 or 3 months.

Seems they have, they appear to have reset all bonfires, including ones I have visited this year
