just add a new red one from twitch drops then the flexers (i have it) can have their elitism object and all other can have an other one. Win win for everyone.

Kudos for Samadan who brought the missing AH Brutosaur issue up on Wowhead!
There are also people who commented on it there.
Thank you Samadan

In the Wowhead article there’s mention of Dataforazeroth picking up someone getting the achievement in Jan 12th 2023. Anecdotally people have mentioned it still drops in the Unclaimed Black Market Container, but I’m yet to see concrete evidence of this.

If it still drops in the BMAH container, statistically, wouldn’t we see way more people get this achievement?

Does the Feat of Strength pop when you obtain the mount and it’s in your bags, or when you learn the mount? If the latter, couldn’t it just be someone who hadn’t learned the mount yet, but had it in their bags from BFA?

They wont bring it back because they consider it to have been a mistake to begin with
They think that cities will become ghost towns when people will have little to no need to use the AH

with the new crafting overhaul cities are needed. we have to go to profession vendors atm. Ghost town is a myth and will never happen. Add 1 Mini mi kid dino with ah. :sauropod:

If cities died simply because of the AH alone, that would be a whole separate issue. Imagine if cities literally only existed for the AH.

In reality they don’t. AH mounts would barely affect city population at all. It’s just myth and making a big deal out of a theoretical issue that doesn’t even exist.

No BMAH. Waiting months just for a chance (you’re competing with others) of the honor of blowing your full goldcap on one mount is nonsense. Put the mount back in the game on a vendor for 5m.

The only mistake was removing it. Blizz didn’t think adding it was a mistake at all. They just needed FOMO gold grind to try and hold players in what was a weak expansion and feel it’d look bad if they went back on it. We don’t care. Add it back.

I mean its just a mount? If it is to be lazy to go the AH well too bad, its just a freaking mount get over it.

the mount looks cool, but I am not obsessing over an AH when all my gold is depleted to buy the dang brutosaur in the first place.

this is why Yak is worth the gold.

It is a collectable that got removed from vendor - a huge deal for collectors.

There’s a pretty big discrepancy between “being lazy” and being efficient with the amount of time you are saving by not having to constantly fly to AH to buy/sell. That time and effort saved adds up in spades in the long run.

That’s entirely a subjective matter of priorities.

i’m all for it but i think you should get taxed every for using the mount a sort of remote tax if you will :stuck_out_tongue:

For that I’ll just quote here the user Taurenbeak that commented there on the same Wowhead article:

There’s two other more likely explanations:

  1. It’s the first time the character was loaded into Dataforazeroth. DFA does not track all characters by default. If DFA has never scanned for the character before, then the character with the mount would be “new” to DFA.

Or (probably the most likely explanation):

  1. Blizzard requires stale armory data to be deleted after 30 days of inactivity. This also means DFA is required to DELETE data on characters that have been inactive for 30 days. If a player got the Bruto during Battle for Azeroth, then took a break and came back, they once again would appear “new” to DFA since DFA would have long forgotten about the player before.

The bottom line is Blizzard needs to make clear what their intent is here. They effectively removed it almost two years ago and went silent on the matter. It’s pretty shameful.

This is really the brass tax, I agree. Sweeping this under the rug for over 600 days is pretty disgraceful.

What really bothers me is that there has not been any kind of Statement regarding the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur (Longboi). Neither “it has been bugged” nor “it’s just THAT(!!!) Rare” Nothing like that. If Blizz could atleast give a comment about it. I Could live with either of those Answers but atleast Take any stance. Don’t leave us in the Dark like that…

One could hope that the Microsoft acquisition is going to help the lack of the communication, not just on this topic, but in general. While I’m hopeful, I’m also not holding my breath.

In any case, Blizzard stated here clearly that it should show up occasionally on the BMAH
That’s obviously isn’t happening, maybe we should all open tickets about it, including this link:

Opening a ton of tickets is going to be futile. It will just be dismissed with an automated canned reply telling you to submit your input to the black voids of either Bug Report or Game Suggestions.

There is probably a large paper shredder in the Blizzard HQ labelled “Player Feedback & Bug Reports”.
