Minerals/Herb collecting with mounts

Hey there
Sorry in advance for this quite trivial question but I havent been very active in WoW during the last 3 or 4 years, and I have missed a lot of features.
I used to know that the only way to collect resources (herbs) with a mount, was to use the Golem mount. Are there other mounts able of the same these days?
And what about minerals?

Ah as we are at it, what about the new expansion: any mounts collecting minerals? ( I guess that no)

In the new expansion you talent into the profession tree to be able to herb or mine while mounted on your dragon.

In older expansions you can herb on a golem but need a BS consumable to be able to mine mounted.
