So I’ve been shaking after 2 events now in World of Warcraft.
The first one was after getting my first Cutting edge with my guild.
The second one was today, when I got the Miner’s Hat of the Deep.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw it in my bags.
There it was, the item that some thought no longer obtaiable.
Has the droprate of this item been increased or did I just get super lucky?
Miner’s hat of the Deep was always obtainable. That alone speaks books I guess.
To answer your question first. No the drop chance was not increased, but since the scaling it can drop from all mobs as a zone drop. The approx. drop chance lies at 0.1% if you leave out the fact that 0.1% was the drop chance when we didn’t have personal loot. You know… we loot now 4/5 less, what made a lot of tmog dealers quit.
You have to as well consider that there are 5 listed Hat’s in the eu, considering the short time huge hype surrounding Uldaman with a pendulum of doom dropping this isn’t much. The only one we see even less of is the notorious Jackhammer, that thing is just plain broken to get.
