No, it’s not similar at all. What a dumb comparison lmao
Could you explain the difference?
hire me for 1000$ and see what i can do
bullshiiit, stop echoing what they are feeding you
true, so hard to sell some items , you get undercut by a lvl 1 bot
absolutely true
thats what i kept saying, they only care about money, and Bots are making blizz so much money, they will never fix the issue and lose the Bot income
he completely exploded my balls with his idiocy, good for him getting payed
botted gold isn’t counterfeit at all. It’s as real as it gets.
Apparently not to pleaseshareholders at the same time.
The fact of the matter remains that blizzard could EASILY hire in-game gms to monitor every single wow server, in both retail and classic, 24/7, year-round. It wouldn’t even make a dent in their earnings. But they choose not to, to save money.
bro, if they hire me for 1k a month i will clean the sht out of the servers, no fly will move without me knowing about it
but they dont care ! hopeless
You are to expensive for them and the MVP says it cant be done.
yeah we had a discussion about that with an MVP, after we disagreed with him he flagged my post and got deleted
posted it again and same MVP came in and flagged me again and got silenced for 1 day
you are not even allowed to talk sense or oppose the policy, even though you and i are paying for this crap, but we have to keep our mouths shut
lmao you can’t be serious.
careful don’t disagree with him , he silenced me
that’s why some people try to ignore his comments, he will provoke you with none sense and flag you for silence
MVP doesnt work for blizzard. They have zero power when it comes to silencing, banning or moderating forums.
They are not blizz employees. Google what mvp on these forums stands for and why did they got it.
It’s just Irani players, there are no bots in this game. Iranis make more than minimum wage of their country doing herb/mining in wow XD
That is indeed a thing.
''We hear folks say things like “just ban the bots” a lot. We ban tens of thousands of bots a week. It’s not visible to you just how much we do, and that is absolutely another problem in itself; we need to be better at surfacing these actions (more on this later). The truth is we’ve never been better and more effective at identifying and actioning malicious accounts, and our Game Security Operations (GSO) team that handle these actions are iterating and innovating on a nearly daily basis.
Unfortunately, in the history of WoW, the people perpetrating this illicit trade have also never been better at coming up with new methods, schemes, farms, and exploits to work around our efforts. As much engineering and analytics effort as we put into this, illicit RMT “workshops” put the same amount in, or more, and there are hundreds, if not thousands of these workshops out there all working around the clock to develop new technologies and techniques to counter our new technologies and techniques. It’s an arms race, and it never, ever ends.
We will never completely beat “bots” or illicit RMT. It’s an unwinnable war as long as there is money to be made by third parties. The ubiquitous nature of this type of thing in online games is an objective fact. It has always been a part of WoW, and every other popular online game for the past 25 years, and it will always be a part of online games going forward. It’s frustrating to fight this fight, but we will not stop fighting it.
While we can’t completely “win” the war, what we can do is mitigate the impact it has on the game. Is WoW Token the be-all and end-all to solve this? No, but it is a tool. It’s just one tool, though, among many. There is clearly a demand for gold for certain types of players, and that demand is only increasing. So, we are engaging a tool that we’ve used before to help mitigate the impact that illicit RMT has on the game. The more tools we employ, and the less lucrative we can make it for third parties to do what they do to make a profit, the less likely it is that new malicious actors enter the illicit RMT scene, and the more likely that existing malicious actors will exit the business. Ultimately, it’s taking incremental steps and using a multitude of tools that will reduce how impactful those third parties will be in Wrath Classic and beyond.‘’
They just do bans for pretending like they’re taking an action. But as we see everytime they never want to solve the real problem. Since getting bans every 180 ish days is really profitable thnx to Blizzard for bots as irl money that problem will exist. Blizzard’s acts just botting more desirable and profitable . And if theres a profit ofc people will use bots.
The thing is in this system i really fell like an idiot for couple of years cause of not using side accounts for botting…
i come back after long time the same thing bots everywhere. i pay a game (its not free) to be fair but bot bot bot cant play cant do mining i dont care fix it we are causal player dont have all day to farm or do dungeons.
I was always on the side of “cmon man dont exxagerate this”, until i decided i wanna make some gold for firelands legendary. So ive set my mind to mining and herbalism.
Not gonna lie…until outland its chill and easy.
Fel iron is an unbeliveable pain to farm, same for cobalt. And then there is cata zones.
And holy moly…
Prices of the elementium, obsidi, pyrite, cinderbloom…well everyhing realy is sinking like a Titanic. I wannted to smelt some hardened elementium and in the span of two-three days the price droped to less than a thirth of what it was when i started “mining”. All herbs are about 2-3 golds and dropping…all ores are under gold…
You may ask why. Its simple, take a legion of hundreds paladins, deathknights and druids, naked or in leveling gear on most basic gryphons.
I achievement statistic tab check the “gold aquired” part. If you find one of those that have under a mil. gold aquired consider yourself a lucky person. Now take those and put them to farm ore and herbs literaly 24/7 and flood the market…while some “weakminded” ppl like it because everything is cheap, you cannot say this is ok. Like nothing you going to try to farm in the game has any value. Flying in TH for hours may net you like 200-300 pieces of each -element. ore and twillight jasmine. Then after these hours of fighting bots in basicaly vacuum cleaned zone you go to AH and all of your farmed mats is worth like 350g.
It is isnane the amout of deep diving bots ,in 90 degrees angle, dismounting EXACTLY on top of every and each node, every time you see a node if there isnt one on it already you will meet like 3 -4 ppl fly by as you loot it…, or even dismount and try to mine it even though they can clearly see you will get it.
I mean you dont have to be a genius to see its a bot. To me the most incriminating argument that you are inf act not encountering a human beign is the fact that many of these herbs and ores are close to enemy mobs. And many times whne you dive for these ores…there is a bot 1–2-3ing the mobs standing exactly on that ore or herb. You land, steal that herb, mount up and fly away.
When you dont get death threaths, R-wording, cusing etc…you know it was a bot…100%.
Like bro…or these lvl 1 characters in AH, total g acquired 15mil, 490k auctions crated, online literaly 24/7.
there are some veins in setthek halls and crypts but not fel iron i think but adamantite
I was at Botanica entrance for a few min. Insane amount of bots are farming there. It’s like a highway with full of pala 80-85 mostly with low speed fly mount moving outside, empty bags and move back inside again. Tried to report as many as i can but they’re too much and my finger hurts.
Not just mining bots or herbing bots, there’s a ton of skinning bots active on certain hotspots in the Cata area’s. Obsidian Forest in Twilight Higlands is occupied by, usually, at least 8 skinning bots. Just follow them around and skin their kills, at least take some advantage of them.
