Hey there
I just noticed that I can mine while flying in low level content (Classic zones, Legion, …)
If I land and start mining it dismounts me, but if I stay in the air (static flying ofc) I can mine without being dismounted.
It seems that it has been the case for a very long time, as I noticed the first time monts ago, especially when mining underwater seams (as I dont “land”). But it can be done on any node.
So, is it a bug (very "convenient bug indeed then xD) or a feature added at some point that I have missed?

It’s a bug. Enjoy it while it lasts. I don’t think it’s high priority on the fix list at present.

It can also happen underwater in Khaz’Algar without the Mining perk.
