Just a tip - but you can pretty much get to 375 mining thorium in Azeroth.
Let’s face it, if they banned all the bots their subscriber numbers would probably take a huge dip, as well as a large portion of their income. Banning bots too quick would mean less of them come back, and less sales of current expansions to keep the company ticking over as they wouldn’t see it as being profitable to bot anymore.
There’s a lot they could do, but the reality is they’d rather focus on the small, meaningless bits than anything that would have a big impact on WoW as a whole.
Long gone are the days of having a GM actually turn up in-game, or provide any useful assistance. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve outsourced their internal support.
The fact there are bots still flying around Terrokar Forest is crazy, and it takes many weeks for them to be banned, then they appear again. It’s clear to see they’re a bot with how they move and following them quickly shows it. I mean, if they had active GMs like they used to they could clearly ban the flagrant offenders.
Btw, if you follow them and start mining a node they are at and stay looting it, just go afk and they’ll stand there forever!
Yeah best to level is do dm east and get those rich ones at the end.
What helps a bit, you can buy ore and refine it until its grey and then farm then rest by yourself. Do that with every new type of ore and you can skip the majority of farming

The truth is that the time invested in the game does not bring equal outcome. With a limited time to play you have to overcome all of these pillars. Fight the bots to get some mats - frustrating experience. Trying to get group for dungeon - frustrating experience. Even leveling is tedious when you are on , mega server , .
Lets skip to FaQ :
- Why do you play on megaserver ?
- because I am late incomer to TBC and all of my friends are there + with experience of vanilla servers, I really dont want to play on 3k server just to later find out its dead and I am required to pay the transfer fee to actually be able to play the game.
- If you cant find group make your own.
- yeah, it totally works like that, best pillar of them all. Sunday 7 hour gaming session, I ve done absolutely nothing ( dailies , one normal dung and few nodes for neering … ), most of the time I ve spent spamming channel for tank.
What ? Yeah … get your own bot or buy some gold.

Mining is hell at the moment because people are levelling new alts, people are rerolling or farming to level JC etc etc. There was a time not that long ago relatively speaking where nobody was mining, other than the odd bot here and there. During that time you could have mined to your hearts content and gobbled up all the ore.
Now? Now it’s the worst time to mine, because everyone is preparing for WOTLK. All that said, being stuck on Gehennas when Blizzard won’t increase layers to above 2 so even at 4am it’s more busy than what most servers would have at prime time due to being overpopulated, partly due to Blizzards Firemaw messsup.
I’m really afraid for lvling Ingee, Jewel because of the cobalt, saronite and titan ore
And really really afraid of the Shadowmoon card
most you Will come cross any server bots mine nods big group
