before the UI overhaul you could disable seeing minion nameplates but still have pets+totems enabled
now theyre all in one together, so i have to change my graphic settings every time i play vs a demo lock or dk and disable it and then enable it again when i do pve or when playing vs hunters/shamans so i can actually
see “minion” mobs in dungeons like shadowmoon
i want to see their pets and totems. i dont want to see their 20 imps and ghouls why always have to change a working system to something worse?
There was minor and there was minions. minor being totems, actual pets like a hunter main pet or stuff like psyfiend or guardians in general. Minions was imps or unholy pets aka the things no one needs to see ever
And it was possible to trigger one of those 2 or both or none. No you can only trigger to see everything or nothing.
Means when theres a demo lock and a unholy dk (pray to god this will never happen) you wont be able to see anything because the whole screen is clustered with BS. If they have a shaman healer you wont be able to see totems which are quite important to see.
Since blizzard removed the option to toggle one or the other, the way to go is to toggle it on or off every game depending on the comp youre facing.
Another example of a perfectly working thing that got screwed with the UI overhaul.
Please blizzard, fix this although im aware this is probably the bottom of the bottom in your priority list…
