Hey guys,

Population, Raids, Pvp, Gdkp.

If horde side:
3 guilds left to a pvp server, one or 2 of those did the gdkp runs. On warcraftlogs it looks like we’ve lost about 600 reported characters but, 1. not all guilds are reporting and 2. we seem to have a large amount of levellers and other newlings on the server.
The activity however is still nice though but you can see summer holidays kick in. The (slow) decline in activity can also be the cause of the numbers on warcraftlogs.
The AH has 34,055 auctions, which is compared with like half a year ago, an increase of activity on the AH.
Edit: i saw another horde inform about the realm on the alliance pug discord server, he got trolled into believing our realm on horde side is bad, it’s not. Don’t get yourselves trolled by leavers and alliances.
But Alliance : Horde is 2:1 so Wintergrasp will be fun.
Its a pve server, people wont care that much and we are open for to work together to give both horde and alliance time with the vault
Not if they are going to use a later version where only an equal amount of players was let into Wintergrasp, you actually had to queue up for it.
Back in the day on Draenor when they made that change alliance finally had a chance to win Wintergrasp and hordes had to wait in queue for it.
Forgot to give you the link to our realm’s discord:
I have an alt at 70 on Mirage, the Alliance is booming and the Horde is kinda struggling, not a lot of pug things taking place. Seem to be a lot of people levelling, people doing Netherwing dailies etc etc, people doing group quests…
But for example pug raids or even Magisters Terrace runs on Horde are rare, you have to play at prime time. It’s still the best PVE server for Horde players, and WOTLK will clearly bring back a lot of players but since Blizzard opened up PVE > PVP the numbers have noticeably dropped quite a rapidly.
yeah the numbers did, however i see plenty of pug raids being planned but you might not be on lots of guild’s discords, there’s also a pug discord for horde, it is less than what it was but that’s because 3 guilds left and there’s ofc summer holidays.
As for dungs, i see a lot of magister’s terras groups but i’m not sure on which times you logged on. I can also still get into the other dungs, it just takes a little longer than at the start of tbc.
Outside of prime hours is pretty quiet on Horde side, but still u can see dung popping here and there.
In prime time its ok, You dont have spam of dungs advertisement on /lfg but its good enough. As for raids pug I never looked at it, since I raid with the guild so I rarely look for raid pugs, like maybe was in one or 2 pug Karazhans over the course of TBC.
A faction with 1600 raiding characters with a way out via paid transfer would be considered actively in the process of dying on a PvP realm. Is that so on a PvE realm now that they have a greener pasture to go to? You decide.
The thing is that people cry about servers dying way way way before its in any danger of dying and with it being summer and 3 guilds leaving their side the numbers look bad right now but they havent had a big drop so its actually not dying.
You are right, and yelling that a realm is dying as an uneducated statement is exactly going to cause that. MR isn’t dying, it’s changing. There have been ppl from the other pve realms that moved to us, ppl from pvp realms, new ppl preparing for WotLK.
And if i had the choice to not play or to move to a pvp realm, i would choose to quit the classic scene as a whole or maybe reroll alliance or factionchange but never going back to a pvp realm again.
we will see, me and my buddy changed yesterday to Mirage from Venoxis, if the Server will die maybe there will be a Free Transfer anyway.
my first 24hours experience on this server is that Horde outside prime time is quite dead.
But thats no Problem.
I will test it till WOTLK what will happen with this Server.
Positive - Players are Friendly and helpful.
PS : Sry for my bad english im from Austria
Horde on MR doesn’t feel at all dead to me. It’s quiet outside prime time hours, but you still see people doing stuff. Though I can see how people transferring from PvP servers (welcome BTW!) may get that impression, being used to large populations and all.
I think if we could get 3-3.5 or 4k ppl at max on our side it would be perfect, not too much, not too low, just perfect
Given that PvE to PvP transfers exist, unfortunately I doubt we’ll see those numbers unfortunately. As long as there is a decent population though, we should be OK (I hope!)
im coming from a 30k Server, you cant really play or farm there when you are fresh lvl 70. Peoples are sitting on Bilions of Gold thats so sadge.
Only GDKP,BOOSTING etc.
I hope Mirage have active PLAYERS ON PRIMETIME.
BTW when you need 1kHonor from Halaa PVP DAILY Quest just whisp us if you cant do the Quest for a litte tip (just add HORSCHTFOX or HORSTFOXY to see when we are online)WE WILL DO THIS ALL DAY TOO HELP YOU GET THE HONOR!!!
And thank you too all People for the welcomes in Forum and Ingame!!
On prime time, it seems well populated to me. But then again I transferred from HW a while back so anything would seem that way I’m currently playing lower level characters (I’ve kinda parked this Druid for a while) so I’m often in Orgrimmar, and in the evening it always has lots of people, and LFG chat seems to be bustling. I do know that there are several active raiding guilds, so you should be fine
Lets try this on Mirage and make the Horde great again!
This is my Charakter on Mirage, finally updated in the Forum
