Mirror Image/War Within Reduplication & Reabsorption Talent Bugs

I took the Reduplication talent, because I figured it would be good for Delves. For some time now, I have been wondering why I haven’t really seen the cooldown skip down at any point, so today, I just picked a random kobold in Isle of Dorn and activated Icy Veins and Mirror Images at the same time, cancelled Icy Veins (to dismiss the water elemental) and did a spellsteal on the mob to pull it. The kobold starts killing the mirror images and manages to kill them (melee). The cooldown of Mirror Images is never reduced and stays perfectly in sync with the cooldown of Icy Veins (also 2 minutes).

Test with Reabsorption: let the kobold hit me a few times, then repeat the test and check if my health changes (and also check the combat log/meters for heals) and it does nothing. It seems the dying mirror images are not triggering either talent.

I see a report on Wowhead from December 2022 saying that the talent doesn’t work. How could this go unfixed for over two years?

I’m happy to report that the Reduplication talent now works. I repeated the same testing I did earlier and was able to get the full effect of the cooldown reduction in my tests. I guess it was hotfixed, but never made it into the patch notes. I did not test Reabsorption, but I’m quite confident that it will also work.
