they rly need to up the drop rate on these or add an option to turn in those useless engine parts for mechanica

I have 10. But it’s slower random I got.
I dont have mood for farm this. I hoped get something drop from kill bosses in LFR.
Or do quest weekly

Not just that they added 5 paragon mounts, they also made the paragon box the main source for the mechanicas AFTER you obtain the mount.
I turned in 3 darkfuse paragon boxes yesterday
Got the mount from the first one and 4 misc mechanicas (2x2) from the other 2 boxes.
This is going to be a long grind
However i’m not bothering with market research anymore,
Once I’m exalted with the main cartels i’ll just keep doing their weeklies for paragons and hopefully i get the necessary misc mechanicas before i turn 60.
I have 55 of them so far, farming on my two characters. Been killing rares daily on my two toons and looting big dumpsters. Also paragon boxes give 1 or 2, including blackfuse paragon.
I understand the idea behind of low drop rate. You can sell whatever you buy with these, so they will be relevant even on upcoming patches and even expansions. Last I checked, mounts worth 1 million gold and pets from 400k to 900k. So people will farm for them even after long time.
You have a guarantee drop from cartel paragon boxes, after getting mount related to that cartel from the box. The main faction cartels of undermine paragon boxes don’t drop any, so don’t expect to get from them.
On the long run you will get what this item buys and even on longer run you can sell them. So it’s better to see this item for money making and that makes it a rare drop.
I killed the rares with more than 15 characters. The daily goal was one. There was a day when I got 9.
I have collected a total of 100 so far.
At least I was lucky in this unlike with the paragon mounts.
It took 13 or 14 paragon chests before the Steamwheedle Supplier dropped.
And there is still a cartel that stands at 3000/6000 
I won’t be done with it until season 3 for sure.
Seems the “easy” way of getting them is using the Winds buff we have now, double rep, farming Darkfuse rep for Paragon troves which guarantee 1-2 misc mechanicas, and doing all the Undermine cartel rep for whatever Cartel you’re with for the week.
Got 27 on me atm.
Seeing the same people selling all 3 mounts on the AH.
A lot of ppl do the Counterfeit Potion-Maker exploit for the darkfuse rep item.
i got like 50 in one day. doing the darkfusse rep before it got hotfix today
SO either people are either lucky or very unlucky with this awful thing, there is no middle ground it seems
