Hi! Since phase 8 launch, spell haste applies to channeled spells. However, it does not apply to arcane missiles when cast with a missile barrage proc (channel time is always 2.5 sec no matter what).
Is this intended? I suspect it’s either an oversight or a bug so just wanted to point it out.
The only channeled spells affected by haste are the regeneration spells, recent change. Every other channeled spell: evocation, arcane missiles will not be affected by haste.
I think I remember reading in the patch notes that the devs specifically wanted only the regeneration spells to benefit from haste.
Having cast speed not work with channeled spells does feel bad/wrong but sadly it seems to be intended.
