trying out a rogue not even level 15 yet, I dont know why but I have never missed so many attacks trying any other classes, i have insane chains where I don’t land any attacks and don’t have any curse or anything on me
I will legit get a chain of like maybe 5 or 6 misses white and special attacks (dodge, miss, dodge, parry, miss) then need to bandage but my gouge also misses so now i need to pot instead… in a 1v1 pull against something the same level as me!
will this get better when i pickup the hit talent ?
should I purposely be out leveling the quests/zones I am doing to get easier time ?
Just roughly if you’re dual wielding with a rogue, the base chance to hit an equal level with maximum weapon skill is decreased by 24% chance. A two hander decreases it by 5%.
If you’re using a new weapon and have no skill in it, that drastically lowers it as well. It is usually recommended to use a new weapon against 1-2 levels lower and be prepared to pull back whenever near a guard for safety.

If your gouge is missing you’re fighting mobs that are higher level than you.
Ideal mobs to fight are 1-4 levels below.
Same level is alright too.
Fighting higher level mobs is where you’ll see more misses/dodges/parries.
For gouge to miss so often you make a forum post about it, I’d wager mob was orange or something? I don’t remember my gouge missing much.

Aim to max out Precision and spec into deep combat as soon as you can.

Weapon skills maxed? Talents placed? Good weapons? Food buffs?
All these mundane thing do difference in HC
after getting higher level missing a lot isn’t happenning quite as much but having a bigger health pool to work with is mitigating so missing a few times isn’t as HUGE as an issue
