Missing bonus XP on Remix alts

Morrrrrnnnnninggg!

I’m having this issue in which any new Legion remix alt doesn’t receive the bonus XP gained via my level 80 main.

I can see the bonus XP buff on both my artifact & in the buff bar however the actual XP that I’m receiving is substantially less than my friends characters that are the same level. This is occurring in both dungeons and world content.

To rule out, I’ve tried the following:

New character
Hc world tier both dungeon & world content
Normal world tier world content & dungeons
Friends receives literal hundreds more xp per mob kill on their new characters than mine, ( i have 108% experience buff, they had 53% at the time of testing)
Attempted playing on my main & then switching back to see any change - no change
Actively increased the XP bonus % on my alt, still hasn’t triggered it to pick up the correct values.

Created a support ticket in which received the following response:

Judging by the "Thank you for your patience, and we hope to get you back in the game soon., it’s like they hadn’t even bothered to read the ticket correctly & just selected any old canned reply & closed it off for their SLA target.

I’m having 130% and at fresh alt I’m receiving the samout amount of exp as other people with 10% more exp. 1 lvl gained per dungeon as others.
For me it’s not working

Same here. I created three alts and only one has the buff, the other two don’t but I haven’t tried the one who has the buff out yet to see if it working as intended yet due to time constraints so will do so tomorrow.
This is why they need to open beta this type of stuff so these sorts of things don’t happen.

I had no buff for extra exp. It turned out it appeared as soon as I opened the artifact weapon and activating the first node.

I’ve got 48% exp boost atm and noticed that you need you Artifact weapon equipped to get it on my alts.

I’m not sure when or if it caps out though.

Same here 5 days later, got from lvl 10 to lvl 11 in 1 instance though I have a 135% XP buff active.
Blizz answering your request with a general technical issues guide is just plain sad.

Maybe unequip and equip the weapon?
