Hi, I was going through my characters and I noticed I have one missing, I used to have a priest (lvl 60 pre-exp) called Abouna and I believe he was troll and I cant find it anymore I even checked all the realm with nothing to be found and I dont remember deleting it as well, can you please advice and get back to me with more info on the above, thanks.
You will need to make a ticket if you’ve checked every realm on your log in page and it’s definitely not there. I can’t find a specific topic that covers this so suggest you try https://eu.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow/181/187/solution There’s a very long wait at the moment but keep your ticket open and someone will get to you.
Chipping in here too. I’m a returning player after playing the original WoW when it was released. I just resubscribed and noticed my main characters are missing. I had level 60 mage and lvl 60 warlock when I played the original version before any expansions. The weird thing is that my other low level characters I created at the same time are there. What has happened to my two main ones and how I can get them back?
I have done everything recommended in the FAQs by Blizzard and sent a ticket but nobody has replied to it even it has been almost two weeks.
If any of the support staff is reading, I would appreciate your help so I could enjoy playing the game as I was hoping for.
Are you on the same licence as back then if you haven’t played since? If it was created during the original game it would have a word as the account name rather than wow1 wow2 etc.
Also have you opened every realm on the log in screen to check if the characters are there as it no longer shows all the realms that have your characters. Some are marked by the number of your characters on the realm in brackets, some don’t.
To add some more options…;
Level 60 characters were “squiches” in the level squish and should now be 25.
The character limit per server has changed as well so all characters no longer fit on the screen, you may have to scroll down on the list to show all characters.
The OP doesn’t mention which game they are playing, if it’s Classic then the squish hasn’t happened.
If it’s Classic they need to look on Morgraine.
Back in the days the account was created using a word (i.e. an original account). I have not opened every realm, I checked only those where were number of characters listed.
I will do that today and report back. Thanks for letting me know this could help. I played original Classic aka “Vanilla” (as I never bought any expansion as there were none yet). I will also check Morgraine.
WoW Classic is entirely new game which recreates the original vanilla, TBC and now Wrath experience. Your original “vanilla” characters should still be on the “Retail” (aka the current modern WoW) servers. Mograine is Classic server so if you haven’t played it afer it relased it won’t have your characters.
I’d completely missed that. If they played classic in 2005-2007 (EU) then their characters will be in Live: World of Warcraft in the launcher.
The Classic 2019 is not the same thing and were fresh realms not connected to the “retail” version now at Shadowlands.
Ananda, thank you so much for the tip of logging in to all realms. With this method I discovered all of my missing characters. I found 1 in Burning Legion, 1 in Ravencrest and 3 in Vek’nilash which had my 2 main characters. I’m happy they are not lost.
Now I would like to know how I can transfer them to my new realm where my new main character is and if it is possible to do for free? At the moment I would need to move 3 characters and that would be quite expensive if I need to pay for every single one.
If you new character is on Classic Wrath then you cannot transfer them. IF they are on one of the realms you listed then you can buy a three character transfer, which is cheaper.
I think you need to say which realm your new character is on.
I would like to move my characters to Stormreaver from Kor’gall (1) and Vek’nilash (2). All of my characters are on the Retail version of the game currently.
Are you sure you want to move to a low population realm? Personally I wouldn’t. Try making a scout character there first to check the population if you don’t already have one. Also some realms are horde or alliance dominated.
I have one character there already and it seems to be OK. It’s a connected realm too with few others. And I like to play casually so not being too crowded is fine by me.
I bought a bundle transfer but for some reason it remains in pending status in the payment page. I guess it takes some time to be enabled?
That usually means that Blizzard is still waiting for the funds to be transferred to them by your financial institution. If you see the funds have already “left the account”, then they are probably being held in a special system to stop you spending them a second time. It doesn’t mean Blizzard have recieved the funds.
In fact, from personal experience, if something is “pending” for more than an hour or three, the transaction failed, and the funds will be returned to you in a few business days.
Though officially, “it can take up to 24 hours”.
OK let’s hope it goes through soon. I used my credit card attached to paypal so it might be because of that. I use the same method for paying the subscription so there should be no issues.
